The following day unfolded in a similar way, with Sohib surprisingly pleasant to Mallika and the rest of the group. Mallika: Monika, ja yaha se...

Monika: Kya! Pagal ho gayi hai kya? Main tujhe iske saath chhod kar nahi ja rahi...

Mallika turned around, finding him smirking.

Nikhil continued, "Kya hua, shocked ho ki mujhe kaise pata? Ya phir dar gayi ho... Anyways, tum shayad bhool gayi ho, Mallika, ki tumhari har khabar rakhne ke liye mera humesha tumhare saath rehna zaroori nahi hai. Mere paas or bhi kai raaste hain."

Mallika shot back, "Just shut up and stay in your limits!"

Nikhil scoffed, "Dekha, sahi bola na maine. Waise bhi, mujhse acha tumhe aur kaun jaan sakta hai? Akhir, itna pyar jo karta hoon main tumse."

Mallika retorted, "Huh! Pyar! Pyar ka matlab bhi pata hai, Nikhil? Agar tum sach mein mujhse pyar karte hote, toh aaj ye sab nahi karte. Karte toh sirf vishwas, trust. Lekin main bhi kisse keh rahi hoon, jisne aaj tak apne..."

She paused, anger evident on her face.

Nikhil interjected, "Oh, main nahi karta toh kaun karta hai? Woh Sumedh! Jiski wajah se tumne mera pyar thukraya."
