Hi ! Welcome to part 69...

Mallika crying uncontrollably continued running, her tears blurring her vision, while Basant and Monika coming that way, witnessing her distressed state, felt a mix of confusion, fear, and concern. As Mallika passed by them, they called out to her, attempting to halt her, but she ignored their pleas and continued running.

Observing Mallika's unusual behavior, not only Basant and Monika but also other students in the vicinity became bewildered, having never seen her in such a vulnerable state.

Monika (worried): "Yeh Mallika ko achanak kya hogaya? Aise rote hue kyun gayi..."

Basant (concerned): "Pata nahi. Woh toh Sumedh se milne gayi thi."

Monika (urgent): "Chalo dekhein..."

They hurried into the hall, where they found Sumedh sitting. Approaching him with a sense of worry, they inquired about the situation.

Basant: "Sumedh! Kya hua hai?"

Sumedh (casual): "Kya hua hai?"

Basant (firmly): "Toh tumhe kuch pata hi nahi... Mallika aise rote hue kyu gyi?"

Sumedh tensed at the mention of Mallika's state but didn't let it show.

Sumedh (dismissively): "Woh aap jakar Mallika se pooch lijiye. Mujhe jaana hai."

He attempted to leave, but Basant intervened, holding his hand and pulling him back to face them directly.

Basant (firmly): "Bahot strange hai ki Mallika ki aise halat hai, or tujhe koi farak hi nahi pad raha. Jaha tak mujhe pata hai, woh abhi yahi aayi thi, isliye seedhe seedhe bata. Mere taraf dekh kar baat kar."

Basant lifted Sumedh's face, only to see him in tears.

Basant: "Tu ro raha hai? Kya hua?"

Sumedh remained silent.

Basant: "Mai kuch pooch raha hun, bolega!"

Monika: "Sumedh, kuch bolo..."

Sumedh: (shouted) "Kya bolun? Kya sunna chahte hai aap log? Yahi ki Mallika ne mujhe dhokha diya hai! Mere pyar ka mazak udaya hai, mujhe cheat kiya hai."

Basant: "Kya! Pagal hogaya hai kya? Hosh mein hai, pata bhi hai kya bol raha hai tu?"

Sumedh: "Haan, poore hosh mein hoon. Aur ye sach hai!"

Monika: "Nahi, Sumedh, tumhe kuch galat samjh liya hoga. Mallika aisa kabhi nahi kar sakti. Woh tumse bahut pyar karti hai, or ye baat sirf hum nahi, tum bhi jaante ho..."

Sumedh: "Mujhe bhi aisa hi laga tha, Monika. Lekin aisa hai nahi. Aur ye baat Mallika ne khud boli hai aaj."

Basant: "Nahi, nahi, main maan hi nahi sakta. Mallika aisa kabhi kar hi nahi sakti, mujhe uspar poora vishwas hai."

Sumedh: "Toh aapko kya lagta hai? Mujhe nahi tha! Mujhe Mallika par poora vishwas tha, isliye maine un photos par poora yakeen karne ke pehle Mallika se poocha tha, aur usine kaha ki woh sab sach hai. Usne mera apna, hum sab ka vishwas toda hai, Basant! Or ye baat aap jitni jaldi samjh lo utna accha!"

Monika: "Ek minute... photos? Kaise photos?"

Sumedh: "Wahi photos jisme Mallika or Sohib ek saath hai! Ek minute, dikhata hun..."

Monika and Basant were shocked at the mention of Sohib's name. (Note: Monika has already informed Basant about the situation.)
