In the quietude of the night, the room was filled with an air of anticipation. Mallika, restlessly pacing, and Monika, lost in contemplation, found themselves entangled in a conversation that could unravel the mystery they had been tirelessly pursuing.
Monika, with a furrowed brow, broke the silence, "Toh tujhe lagta hai woh kaam Nikhil ka hai..." Her voice carried a mixture of curiosity and suspicion.
Mallika, with unwavering conviction, responded, "Haan, mujhe lagta nahi, yakeen hai... Ye kaam Nikhil ka hi hai." She elaborated, delving into the intricate details, "Kyunki itna deep mein Singh Industries ke baare mein sirf wahi jaanta hai. In fact, jo designs thi, woh humare hi company ki designs ki tarah bilkul Xerox thi. Use koi bhi dekh kar ye nahi keh sakta tha ki woh original nahi hai."
A sense of intrigue lingered as she pressed further, "Par baat ye atak rahi hai ki Nikhil ne ye kaam us mastermind ke saath kiya hai, toh us mastermind ka Mudgalkar's ke saath kya lena dena hai ?..."
"Ho Sakta hai woh mastermind Mudgalkar's ke koi rival company ho ?" Monika speculated.
"Maybe," Mallika acknowledged, her thoughts weaving through the possibilities.
Suddenly, Mallika's phone rang, and she swiftly answered.
Mallika : "Monika, mujhe nikalna hoga..."
"Kahaan?" Monika inquired, her curiosity piqued.
"Almost mera mission solve hone wala hai..." Mallika hinted at an impending breakthrough.
"Kya? Mastermind mil gaya? Poori baat bata..." Monika's excitement was palpable.
With a smile playing on her lips, Mallika shared, "Mahi bhaiya ka call tha. Maine tujhe bataya tha na, Nikhil Mumbai aa chuka hai, or woh is waqt ABC Club mein hai. Usme ja raha hai us Somesh se milne, or saath mein woh mastermind bhi wahin aaega."
"Kya baat kar rahi hai Miku !..." Monika's curiosity heightened.
Mallika elaborated, "Haan. Un Logo ne late-night party ka plan kiya hai, saath mein meeting rakhi hai aage ka plan discuss karne ke liye!"
"Parr pub jaise jagah par kyun? I mean wahaan toh bheed hogi ?..." Monika questioned, contemplating the peculiar choice of location.
"Bheed hogi isliye, taki un par koi doubt na kar sake. Aur bhai ne bataya ki aise logon ki setting bhi rehti hai aise jagah pe... Aaj finally mujhe pata chalega ki woh mastermind asli mein kaun hai, jisne ye sab kiya hai. Aur Ek baar bas mujhe pata chal jaaye, phir uski ulti ginti shuru!" Mallika concluded with determination, leaving an air of suspense hanging in the room.
Monika, sensing the intensity: "Mai bhi aa rahi hun..."
Mallika, alarmed: "What ? No... Tu nahi aaegi, Wahaan pe tujhe kisi ne dekh liya toh ! Nahi nahi, mai aisa risk nahi le sakti..."
Monika, resolute: "Toh mai bhi tujhe akele jaane dene ka ka risk nahi le sakti... Kuch nahi hoga mujhe!"
Mallika with unwavering determination, countered, "Maine kaha na nahi. Aur meri tension mat le. Maine pehle bhi kiya hai ye sab. Aaj toh sirf wahaan pe mujhe dekhne jaana hai ki woh mastermind kaun hai. That's it!"
Monika: "Wahi toh, that's it isliye mai bhi chal rahi hun..."
Mallika, frustrated: "Maine kaha na nahi ! Meri tension mat le, maine pehle bhi kiya hai ye sab. Aur aaj toh sirf wahaan pe mujhe dekhne jaana hai ki woh mastermind kaun hai, That's it!"
Monika, undeterred: "Wahi toh, that's it isliye mai bhi chal rahi hun..."
Mallika, shaking her head: "Meri baat kyun nahi manti hai tu ?"
