122. Mahashivratri !

On this auspicious day of Mahashivratri, the air is filled with anticipation and devotion as the final preparations for the Puja to be held at temple are in full swing. With every corner of the house bustling with activity, the family members are adorned in traditional attire, reflecting the reverence they hold for the divine celebration. 

In Mudgalkar Mansion;

Aai and Basant's mom enter the hall, discussing the temple preparations.

Badi Aai : Puja ki saari taiyaari ho gayi na ? Kuch baaki toh nahi hai dekh lijiye ek baar !

B/m : Ha... Waise toh sab taiyaar hogaya hai, par niklane se pehle mai ek baar Monika ko phone karke pooch leti hun waha mandir mein theek se taiyari hogayi hai ya nahi, kuch reh gaya hoga ya chahiye hoga toh abhi pata lag jaega warna khamakha kisi ko pareshan hona padega wapas aane ke liye.

Badi aai : Theek hai !

She went aside and here Tanuja along with Naina and Sunaina came from the kitchen holding the platters ;

Tanuja : Aai ! Kaki ! Prasad taiyaar hogaya hai, dekhiye !

She unveiled the platters, revealing the beautifully arranged Prasad.

Aai : "Khupa chāan"

Badi aai : "Hm... Changle !"

"Harish ! Golu ! Ye saara saaman theek se gaadi mein rakh do... Sumedh aur Sanket hai waha pe !"

They nodded in agreement, ready to assist. Aai noticed Samiran entering...

Aai : "Samir ! Idhar aao..."

Samir : "Ji !"

Aai : "Beta... Ye Prasad aur Puja ka saara saman hai, ise dhyaan se gaadi mein rakhwa do, ek bhi choothna chahiye, hm?"

Samiran : (picked a platter) "Ha, bilkul. Main dekh lunga. Don't worry. Harish bhaiya, Golu bhaiya, aaiye"

B/m : "Baat ho gayi hai.. Basant aur Monika ne pandit ji ke saath milkar mandir mein saari taiyaari karwa di hai !"

Badi Aai : "Achhi baat hai. Yahaan bhi sab tayyar hai. Ab baki log bhi tayyar ho kar aa jayein, phir nikalte hain."

Kaki came in, "Maine toh pehle hi kaha tha aaj Mai late nahi karungi... Dekhiye!"

Samriddhi descended the stairs, "Aur mai bhi... See! I'm also ready!"

Badi Aai: "Arey wah! Aaj toh har koi time par aa gaya."

Kaka walked in, "Wahi toh vahini mai bhi soch raha hun... Harbar late karne wale log aaj time par kaise aagye, Aaj ka din nikla kaise ?"

Kaki: Kya aap bhi! Time pe na aao toh problem, time par aao toh bhi problem!

Kaka: Arey main toh...

Samriddhi: Haan dad, very bad! Aaj toh hum dono time par taiyaar hue hain. Kam se kam aaj toh humare tareef kar dijiye!

Kaka: (mumbles) "Waise late aane par hi konsa chhod deti hai..."

Kaki: "Kya! Kuch kaha aapne?"

Kaka : "Nahi, kuch nahi... bas yehi keh raha tha ki achhi baat hai... Aaj sab time par aagye... Puja mein deri nahi karni chahiye w..woh bhi mahashivratri ki puja... wai..waise... Sumedh kaha hai ? Taiyaar hua ki nahi ? Woh bhi toh time leta hai ready hone mein ?"

Aai : "Sumedh toh sabse pehle hi taiyaar ho gaya tha.."

Kaka : "sabse pehle!"

Samriddhi : "Ha... Unhe Mallika bhabhi se Milne ki excitement haina !"
