Draco's POV

Amber and I walked ourselves to Potions which isn't to far away from the Slytherin common room.

With our fingers intertwined we walk in and sit down with Pansy and Enzo.

"Where were you two last night? Neither of you came to bed." I smirked.

Before they answered I looked at Amber because she shifted in her seat.

Just like yesterday her eyes darkened and her skin went pale. Although she wasn't looking at anything but a blank wall.

"Enzo, look." I projected into his head.

Enzo got up from his seat and came over to me.

"What is she looking at?" He whispered.

"The wall, just like yesterday. Do you think she looked at something else?" I answered back.

"Draco I think you need to go to Dumbledore, this isn't normal." The tone in his voice changed.

"No, not until I see if I can break it."

I turned to Amber again. She seemed to shift her gaze to Harry and Hermione.

Come to think of it, every time Amber has gone into this trance those two have been in the same room.

I tried to read Ambers expression but it is like she's not there.

That's it... that's what she's doing...

She's invading his mind.

"Amber... Amber!" I tried to get her attention which worked.

"Hm?" She replied.

"Let's get out of here." I suggested and she nodded her head.

I grabbed her hand and we both left the class quickly and quietly.

As soon as we left the classroom her aura went back to normal again.

We quickly reached the Astronomy tower. I need to talk to her about this.

"Hi-" I said out of breath.

"Hello." She smiled.

"Amber, please be genuinely honest with me... okay?"

"Okay." She agreed.

"Are you okay? Because every time you're in a room with lots of people including Potter, you zone out and-" I became out of breath again.

"Draco, I um... they know." Tears sprang to her eyes. "They're onto me... they have been suspecting and spying on me since I k-killed Blaise. I don't know what to do- they're going to tell the whole school... Draco, I'll have to... to leave..." she explained faster than my mind could comprehend.

"Darling, it's okay." I wiped a tear from her cheek. "Don't worry about them, and if you have to leave, I'm coming with you."

"And I've been using legilimency on him because it's so easy to get into his mind and read everything that they've talked about and what they've seen me do. You don't understand..." the tears came running down faster now.

"Amber, you're not doing anything wrong. I promise that everything is going to be okay and if they find out, it doesn't matter." I tried to calm her down.

"No- Draco you don't understand..." she fell to her knees on the stone floor. I immediately went down with her. "He'll kill me if anymore people find out." She whispered, barely loud enough so I could hear.

"No, no don't think like that. Everything is going to be okay." I wrapped my arms around her and let her sob into the crook of my neck.

I can't loose her.
