68. Years.

-10 years later-

Draco's POV

It's been 10 years.

10 years since the war.

10 years since the love my life was lost.

10 years to reflect and grow.

I will say that the first few years were extremely hard to adapt to.

Waking up alone... knowing that she won't be by my side.

Having breakfast with no one by my side.

Owning a house and living in it alone.

I visit her tomb everyday. I talk to her everyday. I tell her about everything that goes on in my day. I talk to her for hours. I even had a picnic with her one day.

Talking to her let's my stress levels fall off my back. It feels as if she's sitting on her tomb with me. Those are my favorite parts about my day.

Although one day everything changed.

I adopted a 2 year old girl, 5 years ago.

I named her after the only girl I loved in the world.

Amber Raya Malfoy.

Now that she's grown a bit, she looks almost identical to my Amber. It's scary how similar the two girls are, they act the same as well.

She feisty and doesn't let anyone tell her what's right from wrong. Not to mention the sass she possesses.

She loves visiting her mothers grave.

I first took her to it when she was 5 years old. I introduced her to her mother and my god was she happy to meet her. She talked and talked to her about how badly she wants to see how she is in real life.

She begs me to take her to Amber, although I can't necessarily get to her.

Now she's 7, she understands it more now. I explain every detail to her when she asked about Amber. I ramble on and on about Amber to where little Amber has to tell me to stop.

Every week we have dinner with the Berkshires and Notts.

That's right, they got married and had children of their own.

Theo got married to Pansy. They had a child and named him Blaise Riddle Nott. After Amber and Blaise of course.

That little boy is the funniest kid on the planet. He's one year older than Amber. Him and Amber get along quite well, it's safe to say they have become best friends.

Then we have Enzo, he didn't think he would settle down until he met a girl named Anna Caperna. They got engaged after two years of dating and got married in the next year.

They didn't waste any time to have a baby girl. They named her Avery Amber Berkshire.

She is a gorgeous little girl, the nicest kid I ever met as well. She is the same age as Amber but born a month before Amber.

We all get together and make a toast towards Amber and Blaise before eating all of their favorite foods.

Blaise eats absolutely everything so he was easy to pick for and then of course Amber loved mashed potatoes, corn and steak. So we had to include those.

We all each took something of Ambers or Blaise to keep on us at all times.

Pansy chose Ambers favorite necklace.
