~🍄In the Forest🍄~

Licorice, Red Velvet, and Poison Mushroom were walking through the forest.
They had decided to go on a walk as a family.

They were going slower because of Poison Mushroom. They looked engaged in scanning the forest for mushrooms.

Just then, they found one.

"A shroomieee!!" Poison Mushroom smiled.

They ran to it, and picked it out of the ground.
Licorice looked a little nervous, considering Poison Mushroom has an ability to find poisonous mushrooms over normal ones.

They ran to them and showed the mushroom they collected.
It was easily recognized as a shiitake mushroom.
A safe mushroom.

Red Velvet smiled.

"Nice. You found a safe mushroom. We can keep this one." Red Velvet smiled at them and patted their head.

"Yaaayyy!!!" Poison Mushroom smiled.

"It's 5:00... we must head home soon." Licorice commented.

"We can stay out a little longer. It won't be dark in another 1 hours." Red Velvet responded.

"It's a 1 hour walk back!" Licorice huffed.

"Not if we run!" Red Velvet laughed.

"ugh... you know I'm not as strong as you..." Licorice mumbled in annoyance.

"What did you say?" Red Velvet teased.

"I did not say anything!" Licorice replied.

"Well, then let's go then." Red Velvet replied.

He swiftly picked up Poison Mushroom and began to run. Licorice was struggling to keep up with Red Velvet's speed.

~Timeskip, house~

All three of them had returned to the house. Licorice was exhausted.
Red Velvet was fine.
Poison Mushroom enjoyed the ride.

Licorice stumbled his way to the door of the house they shared and opened the door.

They took off their shoes at the door.

Licorice went to his shared room to quickly drink an energy drink to keep him up.

He went to the door and opened it.
Red Velvet followed, already knowing what he may do.

Licorice went in the closet and got one.
Just as he was going to open the drink's top, Red Velvet swiped it out of his hand.

"Wha- Red Velvet?! What are you doing here?" Licorice gasped.

"Geez, calm down. I knew you were going to do this." Red Velvet sighed.

Licorice looked away.

"It's okay to be tired." Red Velvet kissed Licorice forehead.

Licorice blushed brightly.
Red Velvet looked at his husband's face and laughed.

"You still blush when I do that?? I thought you would have stopped by the time we got married!" Red Velvet laughed.

"I can't control it..." Licorice looked away.

"Eh, it's fine." Red Velvet smiled.

Licorice left the room.
Red Velvet looked down on the drinks in the closet.
This was the one thing he hated about Licorice.
Red Velvet pushed the drinks farther into the closet where he hoped Licorice wouldn't find them. He then obscured them with some boxes.

He relooked at his work before shutting the closet door and leaving the room.
