This request is old- I'm glad I'm getting to it.

~👻Spooky Friend👻~

It was a particularly dark night in the Tower.

Pancake cookie was only there because he was promised acorn jellies by some kids in his school if he went in there, all by himself!

Of course Pancake accepted such a dare!
He was quite excited to be able to get more jellies.

It seemed easy enough to just walk in there, look around, and then leave.

Pancake cookie was determined.

He approached the main entrance quietly.
The floorboards creaked under his feet as he walked.

The main deck was quite dusty.
There were cobwebs everywhere, with small spiders crawling among them.

Pancake cookie sneezed because of the dust.

The place seemed pretty abandoned.
There were no signs of people around there, so Pancake could go along as he pleased.

He pushed open the wooden door.
The hinges creaked.

Pancake cookie went inside.

The inside was stuffy.
There were a lot more cobwebs and dust inside.

The place was mostly made of wood, and was really showing its age.

There was a faint amount of light inside.

The room was dark and cold.
The floors were carpeted with purple, musty carpets.

The first room had a staircase that lead up to the second floor.

Pancake took notice of the stairs immediately and ran up them.

Every time he took a step on those stairs, the wood creaked.

When he went up the stairs, he was in another hallway.
The hallway was also carpeted, just like the lower floor.

On the walls, there were pictures of three cookies.

Pancake looked at the pictures, investigating the cookies and seeing if he could recognize them.

He managed to recognize Blackberry cookie on one of the pictures, and Adventure cookie on another...

He couldn't recognize the third, young looking cookie on the last one, though.

Pancake remembered Blackberry and Adventure.
They were pretty old, well, in a kid's eyes.

The two of them had a solid marriage.
Pancake could only wonder why they never mentioned owning such a huge house! And whoever that cookie was in the picture.

Pancake looked around some more.
The hallway went off into two directions.

Pancake picked the left one and began to walk.

It looked like a very average house.
There were some bookshelves... some rooms... more pictures.

It almost looked like some family had lived her a long time ago!

And, at that, they lived in luxury.
It seemed the old family there was very rich.

Pancake was considering taking some of the treasures there, when he suddenly felt a gust of wind fly past him.

Pancake shivered and looked around.
He felt a little scared in this abandoned tower, being all by himself and only having the promise of acorn jellies to keep himself going along.

Pancake dropped most of the treasures he was stealing.
He began to continue to walk.

There were some doors... one lead to a bathroom, the other to some private study...

Pancake didn't care to go into either of the rooms.

Pancake preferred to just play on his IPad than read boring books.

Pancake began to run down the hallway.
He was getting more and more scared.

The hallway ended with a door.
Pancake opened the door and ran inside.

Inside was a kid's bedroom.
There was a shattered, black chandelier on the floor, next to some onion-lookalike plush.

Pancake went to the  closet and opened it.
Inside was that cookie from the pictures.

They were crying.

"Hey! What's wrong??" Pancake asked the cookie.

"Tears... keep coming..." the cookie cried.

Pancake looked at her.

She strongly resembled an onion... a purple onion at that.

Her hair was long and down most of her back.
She was wearing a white gown.

"Waaahh..." The cookie cried.

"What's your name...?" Pancake asked.

"Onion... Cookie..." Onion said.

"I'm Pancake Cookie! Uh, this might help you stop crying... do you want an acorn jelly??" Pancake asked.

Pancake felt unwilling to sacrifice an acorn jelly to this random kid, but if it made her stop crying for a moment, he'd be happy about it.

"Really...?" Onion asked.

"Yeah!" Pancake said!

Pancake rummaged in his pockets.
He found one quickly; he always had at least one on him in case he got hungry!

"Here!" Pancake said.

Pancake gave her an acorn jelly.
Onion struggled to hold it.

It almost slipped out of her hand, but Pancake stopped it from falling on the ground.

Onion cookie ate all of it.

"Thank... thank you..." Onion thanked him.

"What are you doing in here anyway?? It seems so boring in here..." Pancake asked.

"I... I don't know!" Onion began to sniffle.

"Wait! Don't cry again!!" Pancake said.

Onion wiped her eyes on her plushie.
She continued to sniffle.

"Uhhh- wanna watch something on my iPad??" Pancake offered.

Of course he also had his iPad on him.
He was an iPad kid, after all.

"Sure..." Onion nodded.

Pancake pulled out his iPad.
There was barely any signal in the tower, but there was enough to watch some kids show.

Pancake watched a kids show with Onion cookie to try and console her enough to stop her from crying again.

He was able to get her out of the closet by slowly moving away from it when they watched.

Pancake suddenly got a text on his iPad.

"Huh???" Pancake gasped.

"Oh... do you have to- to go...?" Onion sniffled.

"Yeah, I do..." Pancake said, "my older brother, Roll cake says I have to."

"Oh... okay..." Onion said sadly.

"I'll come back! I promise! Maybe we could play a Rodeblox game next time!!" Pancake offered.

"Oh, sure! What's Rodeblox?" Onion asked.

"You'll find out! I have to go!" Pancake said.

Onion hugged Pancake sadly.

"See you soon... friend..." Onion said.

Pancake waved.
He left the room, running down the hallway and down the stairs too.

He ran out of the house happy, knowing he has a new friend to play with outside of school!
