It was a quiet day in the Cookie Kingdom.
Espresso was sitting on the bench, waiting for two of his friends to show up.
Little did he know, both of them had feelings for him, and also,
Planned to confess right there.
Red Velvet was early.
He walked over to Espresso, keeping calm.
"Hello, Espresso." Red Velvet greeted him respectful.
"Hello." Espresso greeted back.
Red Velvet sat next to Espresso on the bench.
Espresso looked at him.
"Espresso. I do know that we have been friends for a while." Red Velvet started.
"We have. Why do you mention this?" Espresso asked.
"Well... I just wanted to express something to you..." Red Velvet spoke smoothly.
Red Velvet's hand went to Espresso's.
They held hands on the bench.
"I have-" Red Velvet started.
"Ah! Hello, Espresso!" Madeleine interrupted.
Red Velvet glared sharply at Madeleine.
"The hell are you doing here?" Red Velvet questioned.
Madeleine glared back.
"Oh. I didn't know you would be here..." Madeleine said.
"What is up with you two?" Espresso asked.
"Nothing." Red Velvet and Madeleine said at the same time.
Red Velvet and Madeleine continued to glare at each other.
Espresso didn't know what was going on.
"As I was saying, I-" Red Velvet started.
"Don't mind him! I have something much more important to say to you!" Madeleine shoved Red Velvet's face away.
Madeleine sat himself next to Espresso on the other side of the bench.
"I have much stronger feelings for you than he does!" Madeleine confessed.
"That is clearly false. He is probably pretending that he has feelings to spite me." Red Velvet raised his voice.
"Both of you have feelings for me?" Espresso asked.
"Yes." Both Red Velvet and Madeleine nodded.
"Ah. That makes much more sense." Espresso said.
"Well? Me or him?" Madeleine looked at Espresso with a pleading look.
"Oh please. Pleading like a cake hound won't get you anywhere!" Red Velvet insulted.
"If you wanted to get anywhere, you would have to! Who the hell would want to be with you?!" Madeleine insulted back.
"How ARROGANT! In case you have forgotten, I am a higher rank than YOU." Red Velvet insulted.
"And?! Doesn't make you any better!" Madeleine objected.
Red Velvet snorted.
"As if!" Red Velvet said sharply.
Espresso got an idea.
"Ah. I cannot decide who to pick." Espresso lied.
"Pick me!" Madeleine begged.
"He's mine!" Red Velvet growled.
"Oh really? I'll prove it!" Madeleine challenged.
"I will too!" Red Velvet took up the challenge.
Red Velvet and Madeleine went to kiss Espresso at the same time.
Both of them wanted to claim Espresso as "theirs".
Espresso simply ducked down slightly.
Their eyes were closed.
Both of them expected Espresso.
Red Velvet and Madeleine kissed.
Madeleine impulsively grabbed Red Velvet's face to pull him closer.
Both of them were clueless.
Espresso laughed to himself quietly.
"Ah- Espresso... I-" Red Velvet started.
Red Velvet saw that it was Madeleine.
Red Velvet screamed.
He pushed Madeleine away.
Madeleine also realized that he kissed Red Velvet.
"Oh DIVINE! What in the heavens?!" Madeleine yelped.
"It was funny to watch you two kiss, especially that you two were arguing beforehand." Espresso said.
"Why on earthbread would you do that?!" Red Velvet demanded an answer.
"It's simply because I love you both. I'm poly." Espresso admitted.
Red Velvet and Madeleine exchanged a look.
"Well... I suppose this could work..." Red Velvet mumbled.
"I do agree." Madeleine said.
"Then it is already settled." Espresso said.
Espresso grabbed both of them.
He kissed Red Velvet and Madeleine.
