Monday at noon, Jennie was already home from work and currently on the phone with Jisoo.

"You did not say anything to her yesterday, did you?"

"No, Jen. I did not say anything to your future wife." Jisoo teased. "You're old enough to figure this out on your own. All I do is observe and tell you what I've observed."

"You pushed

"You pushed." Jennie shook her head although Jisoo couldn't see it. "With that mistletoe bullshit. You pushed her to kiss me."

"Oh I'm so sorry for making your crush kiss you! Must have felt terrible." Jisoo deadpanned with dry humour. "Don't think I did not notice you two holding hands under the table the whole time after that!"

Jennie gasped. She did not think Jisoo would have noticed that.

"You never hold your mugs with your left hand. Never. Except when the right one is occupied by a pretty Thai girl."

"Oh shut up." Jennie just defended, not denying anything. What would be the point?

"I stand by my words. She deserves a chance with you. She gets along with Ella so well, I saw it yesterday. She will not be one to pull away just because you two are a package deal..."

"She invited us over for dinner tonight..." Jennie told her best friend very quietly with an underlying tone of giddy excitement.

"Noice." Jisoo approved. "So, what are you gonna wear?"

Jennie could hear her dirty smirk even through the phone and she groaned a bit agitated. She hadn't even thought about what she was going to wear... Why was having a crush so exhausting!?

That conversation lay about four hours back and Jennie's excitement had turned into nervousness as she was now standing in front of Lisa's door with Ella. Jennie had made an alcohol free tiramisu for the three of them which she held in her hands shakily.

"Hey!" Lisa greeted them with the biggest smile on her face when she opened the door. There was a tiny fur ball shuffling around Lisa's leg and Ella bent down immediately. "Leo!" She cooed and picked up the tiny cat into her arms. She strolled into Lisa's house like she owned the place, disappearing with the cat.

Jennie came in too and handed Lisa the dessert so she could take her shoes off. "I brought dessert."

"Oh, Jen, you didn't have to." Lisa played along, remembering their soft little jokes from yesterday.

"I'm happy that you're here." She added when Jennie bent back up. Their eyes met and Lisa came closer. She casually kissed Jennie's cheek and when she pulled away, their eyes met again. And there it was. The warm tension between them. The urge to be closer. Jennie's head swam with ideas of kissing those perfect lips. Slowly she reached forward, towards Lisa's free hand and the Thai reacted when she realized what Jennie was doing.
