For how long would we stay here? We had been here for a couple of days already, nothing truly seeming to be done. Our rations were slowly lessening, meaning we couldn't exactly stay for much longer. It came up a couple of times, leaving, but either Chan or Minho would be quick to miss dismiss, not making it a big deal. The two constantly seemed to be discussing though, sneaking off by theirselves, quieting down as soon as someone got close. At first I didn't pay much attention to it, but it became more and more annoying by the second.

"We'll have the guard tonight, so you all go sleep well okay?" Chan said sweetly, everyone quick to agree, all already claiming a spot to sleep. "Hey, it was my turn to sleep on the couch,"Hyunjin whined as he saw Seungmin quickly stealing his spot. Seungmin simply stuck out his tongue closing his eyes. Hyunjin sighed, throwing himself on top of Seungmin, earning a groan from him. I giggled, looking at the two. It was nice to see everyone close to Hyunjin. They must have all missed him a lot.

"Y/N? Aren't you going to sleep?" Minho asked, startling me. When did he suddenly come up behind me? "I am, I am," I hastily answered, "I was just looking for a good spot to sleep in, that's all." A lie, but how would he know? "Go sleep by the fire, it can be cold at night."  He ran up to the stockpile, grabbing one of the sleeping bags, hurrying back to me give it. "Here, sleep well okay?" I took it, grabbing his sleeve when he was about to walk away again. He turned back, looking rather confused.

"Minho... Why do you and Chan keep avoiding the topic of leaving? Is something going on?" I anxiously looked up at him, hoping to read his expression, but it was simply blank, as if nothing was going on. He ruffled my hair, flipping me around and pushing me in the direction of the fireplace. "Don't worry too much you, we'll leave soon. For now just rest out, okay?" I hummed, slightly annoyed, but not going further into it. He was hiding it again.

An hour went by, everyone asleep but me. It wasn't like I couldn't sleep, I simply didn't want to. I couldn't help but be suspicious of Chan and Minho. Something was definitely going on, and I wasn't just going to let the guys get away with it. "Minho, can you check if Y/N is asleep? The rest seems knocked out," Chan whispered. See, they were planning something! I instantly closed my eyes, hoping he wouldn't notice, trying to steady my breathing.

I could feel him getting closer, lightly tucking my hair behind my ear to get a good view of my face with a chuckle. "She's out cold too." "Good, let's go. We can't be too late." Too late? For what? Were they meeting someone? Their footsteps faded, making me finally get up to. I tiptoed to the door they had just passed through, about to open it when I suddenly got caught my surprise, an arm around my waist, a hand covering my mouth. I tried to scream, but quickly heard a familiar voice.

"Shut it, you're gonna ruin the entire plan," Jisung's voice chimed. I quickly peeked behind me, everyone still asleep. Thank goodness. "I don't mind you coming with me, but just stay behind me okay? In case things get dangerous." He slowly let his hand drop, allowing me to breathe again, his arm lingering just a little longer to pull me behind him. I didn't know he could be this sneaky, it quite startled me if we were being honest. I only really knew him as the one figuring out the cure, but I guess they must all be quite trained if they have survived for that long.

The door quietly opened, the both of us sneaking down to follow behind Chan and Minho. We couldn't see them anymore, but their voices were still audible. Besides, there was only one way to go in here if you wanted to actually do something, and that was the way out.

"Chan, tonight will be the last night right?" Minho asked. It was difficult to hear, but if we were quiet enough it was doable. Chan hummed. "I think so... I have to say that I kind of am worried about the rest alone, but they'll be fine right?" Minho agreed. "Of course, we trained them well. Besides, now they Hyunjin is back they have another guard with them, so it's not like they're completely vulnerable. And you know, it's for their own good."

I couldn't help but let out a scoff. Were they actually gonna leave us out here and go off on their own? Jisung instantly turned to me, a little shocked when our faces were barely an inch apart due to the now matching height we had because of the stairs. He put his finger to his lips, mouthing me to be quiet. Oh gosh, please don't tell me the others heard it. Luckily Chan and Minho just seemed to leave the building, meaning we were probably safe.

"Hurry hurry," I whispered, urging Jisung to go down quicker. We couldn't lose them now, for all we know they really were going to leave. We managed to get all the way down quite quickly, standing before the broken door from being kicked in a couple of days ago. Jisung put his hand in front of me, making sure I would be safe before checking. He lightly opened the door, which to our shock opened widely forcefully by another hand.

Chan and Minho now were right in front of us, both their heads shaking. "I already thought I heard something," Minho sighed. "Well, I guess we have some explaining to do, don't we?"
