I washed my hands in the high school bathroom, looking up at my reflection in the mirror. Apparently, that thing I was staring back at was the 'high school heartthrob'.

"That's such a 90's term," Torrence laughed behind me, leaning up against the tiled wall, adorned by blow dryers and paper towel dispensers. He coughed in the middle of his laugh as he had just taken a puff of the joint Rian had rolled.

"Eden actually said that?" Rian doubted, taking the joint from Torrence and inserting it between his lips, inhaling. I nodded, while not disclosing that Ari was the messenger. "I can't see you as the teen boy every girl has a crush on," he explained as he exhaled a gust of smoke.

It was only the three of us in the men's restroom, so we were currently safe from any trouble. Even if someone did enter, I don't think they would rat us out, unless they were a teacher. Shit happens in this school and the entire student population turns a blind eye.

"Why, don't think I look the part?" I smirked, reaching out for the joint.

"He is a fine man, Ri," Torrence mocked as I pretended to pose handsomely. "I can see why."

"What about you guys?" I put the hand-rolled cannabis cigarette in my mouth and leaned against the sink counter with my paws resting behind me. "Any girls crushing on you two?" I mumbled, trying not to drop the joint from my maw.

"Fiona and Torrence have had their eyes set on each other for a while now," Rian chuckled, to which Torrence smacked him in the shoulder, flustered.

"Wait, Fiona Matthews? The gray wolf from calculus?" I gasped, parting the joint from my lips with my middle and pointer finger. Rian and I laughed, teasing Torrence as his face went red. "Oh, my God, not alt girl!"

"You're one to talk, Harv," Torrence crossed his arms, "You've been crushing on Eden for a decade."

"At least we appreciate Eden," Rian spoke, holding his paw out for the joint. I handed it to him as I blew out smoke from the left side of my mouth. "Besides Torrence, Fiona barely talks to us. She's too busy hanging out with her girlfriends."

"Girls are allowed to hang out with their girlfriends," Torrence defended.

"Yeah, no, obviously, I was just saying, she never takes the chance to talk to our friend group. It feels like she has those intentions, but she's obsessed with you and you only."

"She probably only likes you because of the band, anyway," I admitted, to which Torrence nodded his head in agreement.

"You're probably right," Torrence sighed, taking the joint from Rian. "But at least I have a chance."

"Was that directed towards me?" I scoffed, taking a step forward and making an intimidating stance (as a joke).

"I dunno, maybe," Torrence sneered, "Just saying, at least I have the courage to flirt with the girl I like, instead of chasing them around endlessly for the entirety of high school."

"Shut up, simp."

"Shut up, virgin."

"Alright, let's not pull out the V-card, okay?" Rian calmed the dramatic tension, if there even was any. Torrence and I just like to flex our masculinity in very overly exaggerated ways for the sake of comedy. "Torrence, Fi's nice. Harvey, Edie is great. Now, put your dicks away and make up."

"You mean it?" Torrence wondered, looking at the two of us for clarity.

"Yeah, Fiona's fine, I was just teasing," I clarified, leaning back against the sink. "I just wish she'd talk to all of us."
