After Oikawa and you had finished eating, you went to your room. Both of you were tired and it had gotten late too.
"You can't sleep here in my room."
"I can understand that you feel uncomfortable in this situation, but where else am I supposed to sleep?"
"You're invisible, aren't you? So it shouldn't really matter."

Oikawa pouted a little at that remark, but he knew you were right.
"Is it alright if I sleep in the living room then?"
"Yeah. Call me if you need anything."

Oikawa nodded and headed towards the living room. Eyeing the couch, Oikawa sighed in displeasure. Thinking about the current situation that he was in made him distressed. He hoped that (y/n) would be able to help him. After all, she was the only one that could see him.

The next morning came and (y/n) was getting ready for school. She didn't have any opportunity to talk to Oikawa, as her two brothers were getting ready too. As usual it was a noisy morning, where you were the main reason for it.

Oikawa noticed how talkative you were around your family. He also noticed that you laughed and smiled a lot around them.

Once you left your house and made sure that noone was around, you started talking to Oikawa.
"Did you sleep well last night?"
"Not really, to be honest. Your father wasn't able to sleep and he entered the living room to watch some TV."

You gave him an apologetic look.
"Sorry about that."

Before Oikawa could answer he saw the small amount of panic that filled you when you saw your mothers friend. You awkwardly greeted her and she greeted back. Oikawa chuckled at your current state.
"Wow. That was one awkward greeting."

He could see you slightly blush. You looked at him angrily and mumbled a "Shut up", in order to avoid anyone from hearing.
Oikawa's smirk widened at your reaction.

When you arrived at school, a group of girls looked over at you. As soon as you saw them looking, you started to smile and greeted them. You sat down next to them and they continued talking to each other. You on the other hand weren't participating in their conservation, because you weren't interested and because you didn't really like talking to them in general. At home, you talked so much that your family members were begging you to stop. In school or outside of your home however, you rarely talked and rarely showed any emotions. It didn't matter where or with whom you were, either way, you were struggling to show your true self. Everyone considered you as weird.

"Did you do the English homework?"
"No I really didn't want to do it."
"Yeah me neither. I have a life you know? Do I look like I have no hobbies? As if I would invest time in that crap."

It was very usual for your 'friends' to not have done their homework. And you knew exactly what was going to happen next.
"Hey (y/n)! You surely have done your homework, right? Let us copy it!"

You hated it when people asked to copy your homework. They would copy everything word for word and the teachers would always make a fuss about how 60% of the class had the exact same answers, because they would let others copy your homework as well.
"Yeah, here. But please change it, so the teacher doesn't suspect anything."
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Just give it already."

Seeing them roll their eyes at you made you remember why you sometimes hated humans.
"If I would never leave the house like you, I would probably be good at school too, you know."
"Yeah, considering your high grades, I'm pretty sure all you do is learning."
"I already told you that I don't study much."

Oikawa was silently watching as the girls placed your honework in the middle to copy it. Even though you were really good at keeping you face straight, he knew you were upset.
"Leave it to me (y/n)-chan!"

He winked at you and gave you a thumbs up. You looked at him questioningly but tried to avoid attention. Oikawa grabbed your homework and went back to your side.
"Where is it?"
"Did you take it?"
What? No! Why would I?"

They all turned to your direction.
"(Y/n), did you take your honework back!? We're not finished yet!"

That's right. For a split second you forgot that the objects that Oikawa touches become invisible too. What a genius. Oikawa was holding the homework in one hand and his other hand was resting on your shoulder.
"Ask them what they mean and if they just lost your homework. But look a bit angrier and more troubled."

From your side you could see his cheeky grin, which almost made you smirk too.
"Huh!? Why are you accusing me!? I just gave it to you didn't I? Why should I take it? Don't tell me lost my homework! I actually worked really hard on it!"

Seeing your furious expression, they started to feel uncomfortable and avoided eye contact. Oikawa let out a small laugh.

"Oh look, I just found it!"
One girl was chuckling nervously and making obvious signs with her eyes. The other girls picked up on it and played along.
"Oh yeah. Hahah. It was here all along."

Seeing their poor acting skills made you and Oikawa cringe.
"Just give it to me when you're done."
"Okay, okay. It's not like we're going to eat it!"

The teacher walked it and signaled everyone to be quiet. The seat next to you was empty, so Oikawa was sitting next to you, playing around with your pencils and notebooks.
"Before your English lesson starts, I will place your homework somewhere where the girls can find it. That way they won't blame you and they won't have any time to copy your homework."

You wanted to return the bright smile that Oikawa was sending your way, but you didn't want to look like a lunatic to the others, so you took out your notebook and your pencil. You wrote down a "Thank you" with a smiley.
"You're welcome, (y/n)-chan."
