Right now, Oikawa might be stranger to you, but he told himself that he would change that. He was able to gain your trust once before and he was about to do the same again. He wasn't going to move on. He would try to make you fall in love with him again.
Of course he knew that it would be much harder than the first time. The circumstances when you had met for the very first time were completely different than now. It was going to be much harder to gain your trust now. You didn't trust people easily and you certainly didn't let anyone past your stone walls. When he was in your world, you were the only one that could see him and you didn't really see any point in hiding who you really were in front of him. Oikawa and you were together the whole time and you both only had one goal: sending him back to his world.
Now, Oikawa had a new goal: making you fall in love with him. First he needed to make some sort of contact with you. He hoped that he didn't mess things up in your first meeting today. If he were to see you again, how should he act? You will probably be extra careful around him.

Oikawa's thoughts were interrupted when the teacher came into the classroom and asked for everyone's attention.
"Alright class. We have a new student in our class. Her name is (y/n). Please come in and introduce yourself."

Oikawa's eyes widened and all his attention was brought to one specific girl who had just entered the classroom. Maybe starting to make contact with you wouldn't be as hard as he thought.
You on the other hand were freaking out inwardly. Introducing yourself? What were you supposed to say? She already told everyone your name. What else was there to say?
"Hello. I'm (y/n)."

Everyone looked at your stoic face and waited for you to continue. The teacher wasn't exactly satisfied with your response, but she asked you to take a seat between Oikawa and Iwaizumi. They were currently sitting next to each other and last year they kept distracting the class with their behavior. Usually, Oikawa would say something that provoked Iwaizumi and in response, Iwaizumi would hit him. The new girl was a perfect solution to this problem. She seemed quiet and hard-working. She probably wasn't going to talk to any of them, especially not Oikawa, which was the whole point of letting her sit next to him.

Oikawa thought that things couldn't have gone any better. He had to suppress a smile that was threatening to show on his face. He had to act as normal as possible. He could't allow himself to let you think that he was weird. You had to make a good impression  on her. Especially after your first encounter in this world.
Iwaizumi noticed the look on Oikawa's face and mumbled a quite "weirdo", which Oikawa heard and frowned at.
"Iwaizumi, Oikawa, raise your hands, so that (y/n) knows where she has to sit."

They both raised their hands and started to make some space for you. You could also hear some people call you weird, but you didn't pay any attention to that. After all, you were used to it. Just when the teacher was about to start class, another teacher knocked on the door and asked your teacher to take a look at some notes.

Perfect timing. Oikawa turned to look at you and smiled brightly.
"Welcome to our class, (y/n)-chan! I'm Toru Oikawa. I hope we can get along well!"

You remembered that guy. How couldn't you? He was the weird guy from this morning. He seemed to be popular, considering all the girls that surrounded him. You could't stand people like him. He was probably arrogant and putting up an act around everyone, especially around the girls. You couldn't help but wonder where he knew your name from. Have you two ever met? You were sure that you had never seen him before.
Your face was stoic and you nodded to his request.
"Mhhmm."

Oikawa felt his heart ache. He couldn't handle the fact that you were treating him like some stranger. Of course he knew that he WAS a stranger to you at the moment. But it still hurt, especially because he wasn't used to you, behaving like this toward him.

Iwaizumi chuckled at your response.
"You can't get every girl into liking you, Shittykawa."

Oikawa was cussing Iwaizumi out on the inside. If he continued saying stuff like that, you might get a wrong idea of who he was! Thinking about it again, you probably figured that out on your own already. After all you were very perceptive, which was, at the given moment, not a good thing.

"My name's Hajime Iwaizumi. It's nice meeting you again, (y/n)."
Your expression lightened up when you responded Iwaizumi.
"Yeah, I'm glad to see you again too! Thank you again, for helping me! I probably would't have found the office by myself and I would have been late for class."

Oikawa felt nauseous. You probably didn't like him and you probably wanted to keep some distance between you two. Instead, you seemed to get along really well with Iwaizumi. That didn't seem to be a bad thing though. If you would befriend Iwaizumi, you may automatically befriend him too. After all, Iwaizumi was his best friend.

Iwaizumi seemed to like you too.
"I'm glad I could help."

Before you got the chance to continue talking, the teacher came back and started the lesson.
Oikawa had messed up his first impression. That meant that he had to find a new strategy to get you into liking him.
