"Why do you despise this world?"
"Why feel such despair?"
Look at the world around you, stranger
You'll find the answer there.
This world is such a wretched place
Filled with hatred, spite, and lies
Where those who seem the most kind are always
Devils in disguise.
Where people want and want and want
And never give back in turn
And humanity kills itself off
Because they never learn.
It's human nature to be selfish
It's instinct to be cruel.
It's hopeless to live and smile and dream
And wish for the world's renewal.
Is this the world you know, stranger?
Is this what you bargained for?
Did you know we'd end up like this?
Aren't you wishing for something more?
But wishes will remain wishes
Until someone can act
I ask you, stranger, do you think
You can make peace with that?
No impact could be strong enough
To save us from ourselves
Why do I hate this world, you ask?
Because it's a living hell.
