(I'm back after a long time with some more poems aaaaaaaa! Every stanza in this poem is dedicated to someone in my life. Hope you all enjoy~)
If I could know what makes you turn your back
If I could understand why you scowl
Would that change how I see you?
If I could save you from the devils
If I could reach out and guide you
Would you be safe?
If I could silence my troubles for you
If I could stop feeling
Would you appreciate the good, at least?
If I could read your mind
If you weren't so unpredictable
Would I be able to see your side?
If I could trust you
If I could smile instead of wonder in worry
Would we be at peace?
If I could agree with you
If I could see your side of the pain
Would you trust me?
If I could be around more often
If I could listen to you
Would you seek me out for guidance and help?
If I weren't so far away
If I could reach out to you
Would you feel more at home?
If I could love you right
If I could show you how I feel
Would I be able to sleep at night?
If I could have a little bit of faith
If I could have a little bit of certainty
If I could have a little bit of restraint
If I could have a little bit of patience
If I could have a little bit of trust
If I could have a little bit of understanding
If I could have a little bit of time
If I could have a little bit of dedication
If I could have a little bit of love . . .
For your sake . . .
Would you accept me?
Would you love me?
Would you see me?
