Don't fear the dark.
Although the demons of the night may come
to take away all that you love
and destroy all that is good and pure
Do not be afraid.
Because once you have lost everything
and everyone,
Once you have gone blind and
lost your way
Only then
will you be able to truly find the value
in everything.
Only once you've been stripped of everything you have
and are cast away by the ones you once trusted
will you see
with the clarity of crystalline sunlight
the path you must follow
to find home in the new light yet to come.
