How many times have you woken up to a good morning text?
How many times have you held hands?
How many times have you embraced? How much do you give?
How much have you done for her?
How much have you been there for her?Does she give back equally?
Does she comfort you when you feel lost and alone?
Does she give you advice and walk you through your dark days?Do you give, give, give and never receive?
Do you talk like lovers or friends?
Do you feel like you've done something wrong?Have you noticed how distant she is?
How it seems like she'd rather talk to her friends?
How she always seems in a hurry to get away?Do you find yourself being the one who always initiates a conversation?

Does she sound unenthusiastic?

She needed a distraction.
You were there.
You were just good enough.
The last resort for a desperate heart.
The one who's only ever been
"Good enough, I guess."
Oh well.
