Someone out there
is still searching for a reason
Someone out there is trying so hard
To keep smiling
Trying with all their might
To keep everyone happy
After all, anything else would only disappoint
the people who put so much work into bringing them joy.
A single silent cry would be enough
to let everyone down.
And there's no reason to cry
Because nothing has gone wrong.
But the rain is falling
Harder with each drop
And the loneliness of being unheard
Makes it difficult to stop
The endless fall of streaming tears
Behind such cheerful eyes
There has to be someone out there
Who can hear the desperate cries
There has to be someone out there
Who sees through all the lies
There has to be someone out there,
