Now, it's official that I am no longer the son of my parents. Can you believe it? They left me this morning without waking me up. Dude, they were supposed to be driving me off to school. I got up feeling annoyed as I fixed my bed and turned off my alarm clock, which didn't wake me up because I get up early before it alarms. I charged my phone before going out to my room to see if they had left me anything for which I could be grateful. I checked the small clock that's on the side table in our living room, and I guess I can be a little late today since there's no class. I decided to take a shower first, then have some breakfast.

I took the bus this time to avoid stress and conserve energy because, you know, today is the day that I'm going to try out for basketball. If you're wondering why I'm taking a bus or saying that my parents will drive me off to school, it's because I don't drive. Well damn bruh, I'm already 20 years old but still can't drive a car. I actually tried taking the test, but my freaking body couldn't do it. I wonder if Darren is already here and wonder what he's doing right now aside from flirting in the hallway. That dude shouts like a freaking damn dinasour. I can't believe they still exist. I was on my way to the gate when a fucking car honked behind me. Fucking behind me! I quickly got out on my way.

"Do you have a death wish?" Someone shouted. A familiar face popped out of the car window.

"What? You're mute now?" He mockily said, damn Sebastian Moy.

"Fuck off. You do not have the right to claim this road simply because you own a car. Dude, there's a big space in here, but you choose my fucking way!" I hissed. Students are staring at us now, and I don't give a fuck. Who cares if he's the captain of the basketball team? Who cares if he's popular here. I don't give a shit.

"What did you say?" He gritted his teeth and I could see his veins popping out of his neck. He started this.

"Calm down, Seb don't scare the junior." I heard someone speak inside. I tilted my head to see who it was, not caring about the death glare of Sebastian.

"Hi. I'm sorry about my brother. He's just having a bad day, and luckily he vented it on you." Oliver said, smiling. Oliver is better than this shithead. I was about to respond when Sebastian cut me off.

Well, I don't give a shit. He has no right to disrespect his senior like that." He said, angrily. Woa, now it looks like I'm the one at fault here.

"And you know what? Goodluck with your try out. I can't wait to cross out your name." Did he just threaten me? No way!

"Well you too. I can't wait to be part of the team and steal your title." I said back. I'm serious, dude. I have plans to be the team captain. At this moment, I can already feel that he's already at his limit and ready to attack me.

"So watch your back, Captain." I threatened him back before heading out. He's not the boss to act like that. I'm not even scared of him. If he can fight, well, I can fight too. When I was in elementary school, I enrolled in a teakwondo class. Breaking his neck is as easy as breathing.

"Bruh, you look cool in there." Someone behind me tapped my back. I turned around, and a guy with silver hair had a tattoo on his neck, and his kissable lips were smiling widely at me. At least he had white teeth, unlike Darren.

"Do I know you?" I'm not trying to be rude. I actually asked him in a soft voice.

"Oh, my bad. I'm Reggie. First Year College, I took Fine Arts." He introduced himself, smiling. This guy likes to smile, doesn't he?

"Hi, I'm Ryan. So you saw what happened back there." I didn't ask him, I just stated.

"Yep." The sound of the letter P made a noise as it escaped from his mouth.

"I heard you're trying out for basketball. You know, if you want to come together there." He shyly asked.

"Of course, I also have a friend who wants to join."

"Good. So, where do we meet?""

"Let's just meet in our department since it's nearer to the gymnasium."

"That's great.See you later, then!" He shouted as he ran towards his department. Did Reggie just ditch me like that? Dude, he didn't even know what department I was in. As I walked, I let out a low laugh, thinking about how we'd see each other later.

I was walking through the hallway towards my room when I heard some whispers from students outside. I didn't hear it clearly, but the way they looked at me, dude, what did I do? The moment I entered the room, everyone went silent. When I was outside, I could hear them shouting and yelling, but when I entered, they suddenly kept quiet. I was walking towards my chair when one of my male classmates blocked my way.

"Just because your father is a policeman, you dare to disrespect Sebastian Moy." The fuck?

"Are you his dog?" I asked without showing any emotion. The whole room started to get tense, and low whispers were now everywhere.

"What did you say?" He grabbed my uniform and pulled me towards him. Geez, what did I say about people touching me? Oh yes, I didn't tell you, so let me tell you now. I get violent when someone is touching me especially harrassing me and this person in front of me is no exception. I grabbed his hand and turned him around as i yanked his body to the teacher's table.

"First of all, I hate people touching me. Second, i don't give a fuck to anyone. Not to you or to Sebastian. Stay in your lane, and I will stay in mine. Touch me again and I'll make sure you'll see yourself laying in the clinic." I warned him as I let go of his hand. I fixed my uniform and I grabbed my bag from the floor and walked away. People inside were staring at me. Some were throwing glares and some were scared. How can a freshman student defend Sebastian on the second day of school? Like, is he that popular here that even newbies know him? Sebastian Moy, you're really getting on my nerves in just two days. How will I survive now if I passed the tryout? I let out a deep sigh as I put my head on the armchair.
