Not alone

I know the lows can be so low, you doubt anyone can reciprocate the amount of pain you attain and the way that it flows.

Creeping through every ounce of your body while you suffer so quietly.

Screaming on the inside, but you keep it all bottled in. You don't think there's anyone that can help you fight these demons within.

So you continue to plaster fake smiles on your face, even fooling your own friends.

Continuously wondering when will this feeling go away? When will the pain end?!

Life is a burden, you can't bare to carry any longer.

They say death is easier, so your mind begins to ponder.

Don't let your mind stray any further - let me attempt to pull you into the light.

Your life is precious to me, so for your soul I shall fight.

I'm here to tell you I've been here all along  - you've been suffering in silence  - how could you be so strong?

Your burden isn't your own to carry, I'll help alleviate the pain.

Rain the pain of your tears on my shoulder,  like raindrops rolling down a window pane.

I understand how isolating the sadness is, but if you manage to refrain.

Together we can maintain.

I promise you're not alone.
