You wriggle closer into whatever was next to you, for warmth, beginning to entangle your legs with it. What your feet touched, moved towards you, something pulling you closer to the body of heat.

You enfolded your arms around the body, subconsciously taking in its scent. It was a musty smell, with hints of cinnamon and jasmine, but something about it was different, something you couldn't quite place your finger on.

The heat, the smell, the feel of the sheets around you and the cool morning breeze just felt divine. It was like you meant to be in this very moment.

Without warning, you were tugged by the body, downwards and closer, even though your skin was pressed up against it. Your eyes burst open, the morning sunlight blinding you temporarily. Squinting through the lights, you made out the body of a man. A man was in your bed. A dark-haired man. Loki.

You withdrew yourself from the princes' sleeping figure, trying to understand why he was in your bed. His hold on you had softened, allowing you to lift yourself to face him on the pillow.

Thoughts of last night came flashing back, and your confused state morphed into a pleased one. Your mouth turned upwards into a smile as you studied the young god. He certainly was a beauty sleeper, or was it a sleepy beauty? Ah, sleeping beauty, yes.

You felt a tickling sensation around your waist, immediately moving your free hand there to understand what was happening.

It was Loki's finger's subconsciously making patterns on your skin. The action sent a flutter of butterflies racing through your chest and tummy, and you couldn't believe they would increase when he started to entwine your fingers together.

"Good morning princess," he whispered, his voice hoarse. You would be lying if you said it wasn't attractive.

"Good morning princey," you teased with the old nickname.

"I thought I told you not to call me that," he opened his eyes, "How did you sleep?"

"Better," you sneak a glance at his lips before closing your eyes. "Can we stay like this a little longer? It's really nice and warm."

"Whatever you want n/n," he held you closer to his chest so you could hear his heart. His voice spoke, his heart thumping in his chest. "What do you reckon we do today?"

"What do you want to do?"

"Well since we don't have any lessons till three past lunch, we could go to the library. I found some illusion casting spells, Asgardian which I don't think you have on Vanaheim." he stopped for a breath before continuing. "I was thinking we could try those on Thor and the others. Cause a bit of mischief," He tickled you a bit before smiling down on you.

"Oooh, I like that idea. We could go horse riding later," you added.

"We can go horse riding tomorrow. Mother might get mad at us if we cause too much trouble for one day,"

"Alright mummy's boy," you joked.

"Hey!" Loki gasped offendedly.

You chuckle slightly before tucking into his chest. "I'm afraid if I hug you for too long, I won't let you go,"

"Then don't let go," He spoke without thinking. Loki was worried he was given away, but you didn't notice from keeping your focus on his scent. A knock on the door by one of the servants was what required you both to separate from each other's company and dress for the day.

"Thor!" Loki called.

"Sif! My love!" Thor smiled at the illusion of Loki as Sif. Moving closer, Thor grabbed their waist, holding their body against his. "Finished your training for the day?"

"Hello," You were disguised as Fandral and came waltzing into the room, only to see the sight of Loki against Thor's body.

"Where's Y/n?" Hogan howled from the back. "You did look for her, didn't you? Hopefully, didn't get swayed by a common maiden?"

"Of course, I did not. And no, I didn't find her at all," You looked at the very fake Sif in Thor's arms, raising your brow a bit.

"Thor, have you seen my knives?" The real Sif entered behind you, gasping at the sight of herself in Thor's arms. "Who's that?"

"Who are you?" Volstagg got up, readying his club.

"I am Lady Sif of Asgard, fiercest warrior of its army and now answer me: who is this traitor with my partner?"

"It's just me," Loki cried before transforming to his usual form. "It was a joke."

"Good thing it was you," Sif warned Loki before turning to Thor, "Better watch who you hold if you love your arms."

You snicker at Sif's threat, making all the attention turn to you, or Fandral. Clearing your throat, you point out, "She's scary."

"I couldn't find Y/n or Loki, but the guards told me they were in the library together," The true Fandral entered the room behind you, "Probably... Shagging ... each other."

You and Fandral just stare at each other before he comments again. "Do I have such blue eyes? I mean they usually look grey-"

"Who's that?" Hogan yelled.

Loki came over to quickly grab your hand before you both ran outside the hall, revealing yourself in a shimmer of magic as all of them chased behind you two. It was like you were children again, giggling and playing tricks on Thor and his friends.

Even after running halfway through the palace, they didn't stop chasing. Looking around you, you spot a number of pillars which would be great to hide behind.

"Here," you pulled Loki's arm, to which he followed you like a puppy. You pressed yourself against a pillar, Loki squeezing himself next to you. You both were dangerously close to each other, faces merely inches apart like on the bed this morning.

Loki certainly was taller than you, his head bent over yours. Your breaths were loud and heavy from exhaustion. You leaned your back on the pillar, closing your eyes as you tried restoring the oxygen from your body.

Loki's breath heaved before bursting into laughter again, you both still holding each other's hands.

"I've missed this," he opened his eyes, deep forest green rings surrounding the black pools looked into yours, "I've missed you so much."

"I missed you too," you said, now standing upright. Both your faces were breaths away. Your eyes flickered from his eyes to his lips and finally settled on his eyes again. You didn't want to tempt yourself too much. You had only regained your friendship with him for less than a day.

The bang of a gong reminded you both of the time. "We should get to lessons, don't want your mother scolding us for being late."

"Yes, you're right," he hesitated a bit before allowing space between you both. Somehow, you two weren't holding hands anymore. With a sigh, you both left for your lessons.
