This story is based on true event, and the purpose of this was to show people how speaking up about such things has a better outcome.
I recently read a book called tradition by Brendan Kiely. Much better written than mine. but it covers sexual assault and when reading this it made me realise how powerful it actually was in sending a message about speaking up. I bought the book because i thought it was just a cute friends to lovers, but it was really not. It is definitely a slow burner but i recommend for anyone looking to read something similar to mine.
