Teen Parents (Lucaya Fanfiction) *on hold*

Chapter 21

I walked into the living room with a bouquet of flowers in my hands.

"Maya?" I said, walking into the kitchen.

I couldn't find her.

She wasn't in the living room.

I raised my voice. "Maya where are you? Maya?"

"I'm right here calm down." She said, coming into the kitchen.

I felt relief to through my body. That scared me.

She noticed the flowers in my hands and raised an eyebrow.

"I got these for you." I said, handing them to her.

She slowly took them and examined it. "Thanks.."

I watched as she put it in a empty flower case.

The flowers were roses, I remembered they were her favorite since high school.

She started cleaning up the counter while I just stood there awkwardly.

I didn't know what to do now..

After awhile, I saw Maya preparing dinner.

Her meals are the best...

I decided to speak up.

"Need any help?" I asked hopefully.

Maya just shook her head, not turning around. "No thanks."

After a moment, she then turned around. "Can you go get Annie? She's in her bedroom."

I nodded, starting to walk away. Her bedroom was down the hallway.

I walked into her bedroom to see her laying in her crib.

I went over to see her staring up at me with her big brown eyes.

I picked her up. "Hey princess."

She smiled, glad to be out of the crib.

As we walked out the door, I heard a loud pout from Annie.

I looked over to see her having a pouty look on her face.

I noticed she was pointing her little finger at the ground and I kneeled down.

I placed her on her hands and knees and she started to crawl.

Suddenly, she wobbly got onto her two legs and walked a few inches.

"Woah there!" I said, catching her.

She had a big smile on her face and I leaned her up.

She walked a few inches again.

This was the first time ever she was walking.

"Maya come here!" I hollered.

I heard footsteps and then Maya entering the room. "What now?"

Okay she was still annoyed by me clearly...

"Annie's walking." I said.

Maya looked curious and kneeled down across from her.

Annie did the same thing as before and started to wobble as Maya caught her.

Maya laughed. "That's awesome!"

She then looked up at me and gave me a small smile, the first time in days.

After awhile she stood up and said, "we should go eat dinner now."

I stood up, with Annie in my hands. "Okay."

A/N
So someone suggested I do more interactions with Lucas and Annie...there will be soon!

All the drama happens in the next chapter.

And next chapter will be in Maya's POV again.
