"You okay here Riley?" I asked Riley as I slipped some shoes on.

Riley nodded. "I've watched Annie several times before, you two go!"

Lucas had gotten me into going on a date night with him and Riley was watching Annie for the night.

I kissed Annie goodbye and Lucas held the front door open for me.

"Don't come home with any extra babies!!" Riley exclaimed from behind us.

I shot her a glare and felt my face turn red.

"No promises." Lucas joked.

I rolled my eyes. "You both annoy me."

They both smiled and we headed to Lucas's car.

"Can you tell me where we are going now?" I asked Lucas.

Lucas shook his head, putting on his seatbelt. "Just wait."

I sighed, leaning back in my seat as the car started moving.

----------
I looked out my window to see a beautiful sight out.

We have been driving for 10 minutes and the car was starting slow down.

I knew where we were right away. I've been here before.

I turned towards Lucas. "Long shore beach?"

He smiled, nodding. "Our first date ever."

I remembered that day. We were 15 years old in high school, and Lucas went all romantic for our first date.

We opened our car doors and Lucas locked me in the car.

I banged lightly on the window. "Hey!"

Lucas came around and opened the door. "Ma lady."

I grabbed his head and stepped out of the car.

"Thank you."

We walked along the sand, hand in hand.

The beach wasn't that busy and it was quite peaceful, listening to the waves.

We reached a certain spot and Lucas stopped.

"I brought a blanket." He said, laying the blanket on the sand.

I smiled and sat down on the blanket, staring out into the waves.

Lucas put his arm around me and I rested my head on my shoulder.

"I love you. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Lucas said.

I blushed, looking down at the blanket. "You say that all the time."

Lucas looked at me in the eyes. "It's true. I made a horrible mistake leaving you before... I feel awful."

I lifted his chin up. "But your here now. And I love you."

-----------
It was now an hour later and I stood up from the blanket.

"You miss Annie?" Lucas said.

I nodded, feeling guilty that I wanted to leave the date early.

Lucas reassured me. "It's fine, I miss her too. Let's go home."
