Teen Parents (Lucaya Fanfiction) *on hold*

Chapter 2

After Lucas had left me to go to Texas, my entire life changed.

I stayed in high school and finished up my senior year before I had Annie.

It wasn't easy though. I got bullied tons and lots of rumors about Lucas and I went around the school.

I'm in college now and do online college so I can stay home with Annie.

I had Annie in June, and it is April now.

Now that Lucas has returned and proven that he won't leave again, maybe things will get back to normal.

I snapped out of my daydreams and went out of the bedroom.

I entered the kitchen to see Lucas and Annie, Lucas trying to feed Annie.

Annie just pushed the bowl away, almost knocking it to the floor.

"Man Maya how do you feed her!" Lucas exclaimed

I sat down next to him. "It wasn't easy."

I moved the bowl of peaches so Annie wouldn't knock it over.

We just watched our baby giggling at us and we smiled.

This is what I've been wanting for months. The whole family together.

And it's finally come true.

It was now nighttime and I was getting ready to put Annie to bed.

I think Lucas was talking to his old buddy Farkle so I took her.

Which I was fine with, he had been spending tons and tons of time with Annie since he moved in.

I put Annie in her crib and put her toys in. "Goodnight sweetie."

I shut off the lights and kept the door cracked since she will be up later in the middle of the night.

I went downstairs to see Lucas on his cell phone.

I sat down next to him and he looked up, "hey babe."

He smiled warmly at me and I smiled back. "What are you doing?"

Lucas shrugged. "Talked to farkle, but he had to go to get back to work."

"That sucks."

Night shifts really suck, I had a job at a grocery store while I was pregnant with Annie to earn some extra cash.

I had to work until midnight every night and it was terrible.

I came back to reality to hear Lucas talking.

"Sorry what'd you say?" I asked.

Lucas sighed. "Maya stop thinking about the past, don't do that to yourself."

I sighed. "I'm sorry."

Lucas rubbed my cheek. "Let's just focus on the present. Most importantly, our future."

I smiled and pecked his lips. "Okay."

"Speaking of the future, how about we go on a date tomorrow night?" Lucas asked.

"Lucas I don't know--"

Lucas held my hands. "Please. Already got it all arranged for Riley to babysit Annie."

I bit my lip. It has been awhile since I went out at night since I had Annie.

Plus I knew I was in good hands since Riley was watching Annie.

"Fine." I said giving in. "Where are you taking me?"

"That's a surprise for later." Lucas said, winking at me.

I groaned. "You know I hate surprises!"

"Exactly babe!"
