We've only been here for about a month or so. I'm still not sure about this place. It seems almost too.... Perfect. Daryl talked me into it, Said the kids need somewhere safe. Needed a good place to raise Rosalina. I will say since we got here me and Daryl have been spending so much time together. It really is like we're a family again. I told Maggie I'd try to come visit, she was set on not coming. I've been helping out Carol with baking and stuff. I don't want them to know how smart I am or what I know. I'm still very skeptical about this place.
Apparently it's Halloween here. I don't even know if that's true! But they threw a big festival for it. Even have Rosalina dressed up as a princess! I make my way over to Daryl. "Our baby girl is officially a princess!" I say showing him her outfit. "She's always been a princess! Come to daddy." He grabs her and kisses her head. She giggle and clings to him. "Before we know it she's been walking around!" "Walking around and kicking ass!" I laugh "Did the kids like the haunted house?" "Think it scared Rj a bit too much." "I miss Halloween times." "It was always your favorite time of the year." I hear Rosalina coo and kinda point at Ezekiel and the animals. "Think shes interested in the animals." Me and daryl walk over to Ezekiel . "Hey guys!" He greets us and I hug him. "Baby girl is very interested in the animals or just the noise I cant tell!" I say smiling handing her over to him. "Shes getting bigger!" I stand back with daryl as we watch Rosalina play with the small animals. I smile big "Shes so cute daryl!" "Just like her momma." He says kissing my cheek. I love the feeling of us being a family, maybe this place isn't so bad after all. Everyone starts clapping when the boss lady comes out. Ezikial hands us Rosalina, I look at Daryl, "still don't like this." I whisper. "Come on!" He says grabbing my hand as we go back to our shitty apartment. "Never thought we would have to worry about money again." I sit down against the wall, "maybe I should tell them about my knowledge in the medical field. Could get us more money to help with the kids." "You really wanna go to all those fancy party's and shit. It's bad enough I have to be security for it." "You'll do good babe! I just think a little more money couldn't hurt. Get us up and running get the kids a little something." "Do you like it here?" I grab Rosalina back bouncing her on my leg. "Want the truth?" "That would be nice." I bit my lip nervously  "no I don't like it here. It's sketchy, doesn't seem right at all. Id rather be back home with Maggie." I hear him grunt a little, "I'm sorry Daryl i shouldn't-" "no I'm sorry I just thought it would be better for the kids." "I thought that too until I got here. There's just so much doubt about this place." "Hopefully we'll get back home after it's done." "If it gets done." He pulls me into his lap. "Just have to make due with what we have. We'll get out of here somehow." "What about you mr. Trooper?" I say laughing a bit. "Not even one of them yet, it's a pain in the ass." "You being nice?" He groans "trying to be." I smile and peck his lips. "Guess we should get her to try and sleep huh?" "Actually I got these from Gabe." He says reaching for a bag and pulling out small ear muffs. "He got some for Coco said they should help." I stand up with Rosalina and bring her to the bathroom to get her out of her costume. I finally get her down to sleep. I get on the bed where Daryls now laying. "I miss going out and killing everyday. Miss our hunts together." "I do too, miss my bike." I laugh "you miss your bike more than our hunts?" "I didn't say that!" "You thought it!" "Did not." I look up at him and squint my eyes. "Your lying." He pecks my lips. "You can't just kiss me to throw me off." "Why not?" I roll my eyes. "I can kiss my wife whenever I want." I smile big looking down at my ring. "Still counting on that wedding." I say jokingly. I look at his hand, "well i still need a  ring, don't i?" He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a simple medal ring. "Where the hell did you get this?" I say grabbing it from his hand. "I've had it for a while just didn't want to loose it." I grab his had and slide it on his finger. "One day." I say kissing his cheek. "Guess I should get going, got to work." I move letting him get up. He pecks my lips "Be nice daryl." He rolls his eyes. "Yeah yeah." He walks out of our shitty apartment. I wonder what will happen if I actually tell them my medical background. Will I get in trouble for not being truthful? Its very possible, expect the unexpected. Maybe all this was just a bad idea. Just wanted what's best for the kids. I sigh and lay down, what the hell have we gotten ourselves into.

I feel the weight of the bed shift and I turn around and see daryl. He lays down as I start to cuddle up with him. "How was the event?" I ask laying my head down on his chest. "Eventful." "What happened?" "I think I earned our keep." I lift my head up. "What do you mean?" "Think were getting out of this shitty apartment." I smile and kiss him. "Told you that you could do it." "Did it for yall." "I love you so much you know that Dixon?" I ask resting my chin on his chest. He smile "I love you too Dixon!" I giggle and wrap my arms around his stomach. Maybe we'll be just fine here!
