CHAPTER 36

Khyrieze Llanelli Villaraigosa's POV

Pagpunta namin sa garden ay settled na ang lahat. Nakaupo na sila sa kani-kanilang pwesto at tanging kaming tatlo nalang ang kulang. I guess no one told Britney that Rian is already here kaya ito ang pumunta sa kwarto ko upang tawagin ako. Umalis kasi sila kaninang umaga na mag ka-kaibigan para pumunta sa kani-kanilang mga bahay dito sa kalapit bayan. I don't know why and I don't want to know either.

"Girl saan kaba nagpunta? Pagkababa natin nawala ka nalang bigla" Ate Bianca said nang makalapit sa kaibigan. Tahimik lang na tumabi si Britney sa kanila. Hindi nadin kumibo ang mga kasama nito nang makita na nakatingin ako. Marahil alam na nila.

"Hija, come on maupo na kayo" I heard Dad called us kaya agad kong pinag-hila nang ma-uupuan si Rian at naupo sa tabi nito.

"Girls, since kadarating niyo lang, I guess you didn't greet our visitors" Lolo Ramon stated. Agad naman tumayo ang mga kaibigan ni Ate Hyve at agad nagmano sa parents ni Rian at nag hello sa magkakapatid "They are Mr. & Mrs. Rasmussen, beside them are their children, including Rian. I guess you knew who she is in Khyrieze life. And if not, I'd like to introduce you to her, to Khyrieze's soon to be Fiancé" nakangiting sabi nito at tumango tango sakin. Agad kong nilingon ang parents ni Rian nang sabihin iyon ni Lolo. Gosh! Hindi ko alam kung mas ikakagulat ko na they look just fine. Jeez! I guess, they already talk about this.

"What?! Are they together for you to decide that early? How can you come up with that idea na siya yung gustong pakasalan ni Khyrieze?!" Gulat na reaksyon ni Bri kaya nagkatinginan lang din kami ni Rian. Everyone here are in the state of shock so no one dare to speak except her.

I heard Lolo Ramon chuckled a bit before turning his face into a serious look. "Do you think that I was just an old man with no power or any connections?" He leaned on the table and look at us one by one. Then he stops on Britney's side "I am not Ramon Antonio Villaraigosa Jr. For nothing" then he leaned back on his chair again. "I know everything, as in everything. And besides, her parent's business can be a major help in our businesses, so why not?" Nakangiting sabi nito habang nakikipag sukatan nang tingin kay Britney.

"Papa, I know we've talked about it earlier, but isn't it too early to say that to them?" Mom said in a worried tone. Bumaling naman si Lolo dito.

"Come on, it's not like pipilitin ko silang magpakasal agad. I said, soon to be fiancé, hindi naman siguro masamang ipaalam na sa mga bata yung mangyayare sa kanila. Khyrieze, what can you say?" kalmadong sabi nito tsaka ako binalingan.

Napatingin muna ako kay Rian to ask help and she just smiled at me. "Actually, Rian and I are dating for months" I seriously said. I think it's the right time to tell them what our real status. "Tita, Tito, I know that he have already talked about this but I'd like to repeat myself. I really love your daughter, and I'd like to say that I'm going to marry her, not now, but when the time is right" Seryosong saad ko. Nakita ko naman na ngumiti lang si Tita Ari then Tito David just nod at me.

"See? Everythings are settled according to the plan, just don't get pressured okay? After Rian's debut, tsaka palang natin I pupublic that you two are engaged" Lolo said kaya tumango naman ako dito. "Now we should eat, kanina pa naghihintay ang pagkain." Sinunod nalang namin ito at tahimik na kumain. Marahil iniisip nang lahat ang binitawang salita kanila lang ni Lolo.

"But what if Khyrieze changes her mind?" Muling nagsalita si Bri kaya napatigil ako sa pagkain.

"And why would that happen?" This time, naunahan akong sumagot ni Rian. She looks so serious and it makes her hot.

"I don't know, maybe magsawa siya or things might happened" pang aasar nito. I saw that Rians grip to the pork becomes tighter.

"If that happens, then wala akong magagawa kundi ang pakawalan siya, but let me tell you this" she slowly put her utensils on the plate then look directly at Britney. "K loves me the way sunflower does to it sunshine. The way a bee protects it's honey, and most of all" She paused then look at me. "She loves me because I am Darianne Rasmussen who was there, when no one wants to be with her in her dark place" I immediately smiled and hold her hand in the table.

Agad kong binalingan nang tingin si Bri na kasalukuyang nakatingin sa mga kamay namin.
"Don't Worry Ate Bri, I will not let Rian feel what I feel, I will not let her suffer alone just because I couldn't fight for her. I can't promise you anything, but I want you to know that no matter what, I will not leave her just for my own sake." I can see pain through her eyes but that's nothing compare to what she did to me.

"Alam mo Ate Bri, hindi naman masamang maging bitter dahil nasaktan or sinaktan ka ng ex mo, pero ang payo ko sayo, makikita mo din yung magmamahal nang totoo sayo, baka nga nakilala mo na, kaso sinayang mo. Don't worry, meron pa naman iba jan, huwag mo nang hintayin pa yung alam mong may sabit na" I heard Ate Lalein said kaya napailing ako. Kahit kelan talaga, hindi papayag na hindi niya maasar itong si Bri.

"You know what kids, someone told me that you are lucky enough if you atleast met your soulmate, because not all soulmates are destined to met each other. I could say that blessed are those who ended up their soulmates." Tita Ari said kaya napa tingin kami dito. She was looking at My Mom na tumango lang dito.

"And we also need to learn to accept everything that happened or might happened into our lives, because it can help us grow, and makes us a better person" Mommy says. I don't know if it was just me or there's something that they wanted to point out from those words that the have said. But nevertheless, they absolutely right. I just hope that Bri will not make anything stupid just to get what she wants. Because if she did, ako mismo ang makakabangga niya.
