So, I'm going to write this part because I want get a few things clear about some things you might have missed in this book.
Rue suffers from an eating disorder and anxiety. I didn't want to immediately call out her disorders, because I didn't want it to be her whole personality. But when I write the small parts saying "bouncing my knee up and down" or "It's too bad I'm not hungry" that's me hinting to what she goes through.
Nadine has PTSD and depression. He doesn't believe he in love, and doesn't allow himself to. Because of things that have happened with his parents, how he noticed what his mom went through in his relationship with his father. He claims he doesn't want to put someone through that.
Is Rue pregnant ?
Just going to leave that question to sink in...
