Lauren

Soon the car came to halt and I looked out to see a big mansion in front of me.

The mansion is beautiful and it screamed rich in all ways.

I got down the car when the driver opened the door.

I saw Ethan making his way to the entrance and I followed him quietly.

Though he is just walking, I am practically running behind him due to the height difference.

I was looking around the mansion following him. I didn't see him stop in the midway and I crashed into him.

I immediately took two steps back and he turned towards him.

I looked up to see his regular angry expression.

Is he always like this or is this angry expression reserved only for me?

Why do he clench his jaw all the time?

I pity his teeth.

"Are you blind?" he asked me and my face changed into a frown.

What?

What does that mean?

"What?" I asked genuinely confused.

"Can't you see where you are going?" he looked annoyed.

"I'm sorry." I apologized.

He glared at me for a second before opening his mouth again.

"I never wanted this marriage." And that didn't surprise me.

Same here Mr. Kingston.

I was about to voice my thought when he intruded.

"Go upstairs and the first room in the right is your room. This is Grandpa's mansion. We will only stay here tonight. we'll leave tomorrow after the party. Do you Understand?" I nodded at him my head hung low.

"Use your words." He stated firmly.

"Yes." I quickly answered and he left without giving me a second glance.

Use your words. I mocked him making a weird face.

What does he think of himself?

An Alpha.

A stupid alpha.

I rolled my eyes and walked upstairs looking around the mansion.

Well, I am already married. I can't do anything anymore except accepting it.

And I will do it, if it can bring me at least a bit of peace.

I soon walked in to my room and looked at the huge mirror in front of me.

I am still in my wedding dress and my eyes surely look tired.

I was looking for my luggage to change into something comfortable when I heard a knock on the door.

I opened the door to see it is grandpa.

"Lauren, why are you here?" he asked me with a confused face.

"I was told this is my room grandpa." His frown deepened.

"Oh. They might have made a mistake dear. This is not your room. Come I'll take you there." Now its my turn to frown.

Whatever.

I nodded at him and walked after him.

He took me to a room which is at the end of the hallway.
