Chapter thirty six

"I thought you were coming to get the kids last night? Me and your father had plans. You lucky Harmony was here to watch them because we was gonna have some problems." Moms said as Cree walked through the door. "My bad. I was about to be on my way to get them but then some shit came up and I had to take care of it asap." He said. "What was so important you couldn't come get your kids?" Moms asked as she put Bailey in his arms. Cree kissed her cheek and then looked back over at his moms.  "Seven called me crying breaking down. Telling me Devon took Santana up to the hospital to get a dna test behind her back and shit." Cree said.

"Hold on What! Now why would he go and do some shit like that?" Moms asked. Cj ran into the room. "Daddy! Where you been?" He asked as he hugged his leg. "Hey son. I been busy but we going home now I missed you." Cree said as he bent over and picked him up too. "Why did Devon even do that Creation. That's just some nonsense that little boy need to be ashamed of himself because he knows that baby is his. Whose else would it be?" Moms asked. "Well. That's just a story for another day. Moral of the story he think the baby mines." Cree said. "That doesn't even add up you were talking to seven long after she was pregnant with Santana so he's wrong. Right?" Moms asked.

"I mean I guess we'll see in a few days." Cree said. "Creation you telling me it's a chance he actually might be yours?" She asked. "Yes. I mean I don't think he is but at the end of the day it don't matter to me, ima love em the same either way." Cree said. "Well what does Seven have to say about all of this?" Moms asked. "I told you she was crying and shit telling me I need to put my hands on him and all that other stuff but I decided not to." Cree said. "Oh well that was very mature of you. You shouldn't be fighting with that little boy anyways." She said.

"Nah I would have gladly done it but ion need him running to the police and telling on me like the lil bitch he is. I'm still fighting this case with Krissy and the court date is next week so ion need nothing that could jeopardize that right now." Cree said. "Exactly. But don't you worry about that son I know everything is gonna work out." Moms said. "What's up Creation. You taking my grand babies with you?" Pops asked as he walked into the kitchen. "Yeah I am. I took off work for a week just to spend some more time with em." Cree said. "Well that's good I know you miss em. I got all they stuff packed upstairs in the third bedroom." Pops said.

"Oh so you was ready to kick my babies out huh?" Cree asked. "That Cj is something else. That mouth Creation you need to work on that with him." Moms said. "I personally think that he's funny and just smart for his age. But alright. Ima talk to him about it." He said. "Good. I made you and Seven a plate they in the refrigerator." Moms said. "Alright thanks. I'm finna go speak to Harmony then head out."  Cree said. "Un un, tell yo daddy what you just told me." Moms said. He smacked his teeth loudly. "Ma why you gotta do allat?" He asked. "Your father needs to know." Moms said.

"Need to know what Makia?" Pops asked. "It's nothing for real basically it's a chance that Santana is my biological son and Devon took him to the hospital behind Seven back and got a DNA test. But that's it." Cree said. "Oh. So what was the results?" Shawn asked. "They haven't came back yet. But I'm pretty sure he not mine I wore a condom. I know I did." Cree said. "Well that doesn't really mean anything son, condoms can break, trust me as someone with nine kids I know." Moms said. "You right I just don't know mama." Cree said. "Well it don't matter what the test say, you know this family welcomes Santana either way." Pops said.

"Thanks I appreciate that from y'all. I really do." Cree said as they all hugged. He pulled away as his phone rung. It was June. "What's up man I told you don't be hitting me up about the club. Call Kacey." Cree said. "Nigga shut up. I told Amber ass that but she crying saying she only want you. So come up here now she causing a scene and shit." June said. "What the fuck happened?" Cree asked. "Well she got outta line with one of the costumers she was serving and he ruffed her up a little. Now we handled his ass most definitely but she still shaken up and she saying she want you to come take her home man." June said.
