CEARA'S POV

"Happy 1st monthsary!" Pilit kong pinipigilan ang tawa ko nang lumakad papalapit sa akin si Marcus habang may hawak na maliit na cupcake sa isang kamay niya. Tinatakpan ng isa pa niyang kamay ang kandila para hindi mamatay ang apoy kapag umihip ang hangin.

"Nagtitipid ka ba?" nagpipigil ng tawa kong tanong sa kanya at tinakpan ang bibig ko.

"Bakit?" Natawa rin si Marcus kahit hindi niya alam kung bakit ako tumatawa. Huminto siya sa harap ko at inilapit sa akin ang cupcake.

"Cupcake? Sana buong cake ang binili mo," sabi ko sa kanya pero hindi ako nagrereklamo. Natatawa lang talaga ako kung bakit cupcake.

"We can share, Ceara. Sa susunod na lang ang cake. Kapag 1st anniversary natin," sabi niya.

Lumawak ang pangkakangiti ng labi ko. "Naniniwala kang aabot tayo ng hanggang isang taon?" tanong ko.

He nodded, but also shook his head. "Not just one year, but many years." He removed his hand from the front of the cake. "Now, blow it," he said while smiling.

"Let's blow together," I said excitedly.

"Okay."

We first stared at the dancing candle flame, we were just silent and thinking about what we could wish for. Marcus was holding the cupcake and when we closed our eyes, we blew out the candle.

"What is your wish?" Marcus asked me first. I slowly opened my eyes, looked at the candle without fire, and looked up at him.

Na palakasin Niya ako dahil hindi ko alam kung ano ang haharapin ko sa mga susunod na araw.

"Secret lang dapat!" pagtatago ko. I removed the cupcake between us and wrapped my two arms around his neck. I kissed him passionataly and he responded even more. Inilayo ko ang mukha ko at ngumiti nang matamis sa kanya. "Happy 1st monthsary, Marcus." I touched the side of his face and stared into his eyes. Wala akong nakikitang may tinatago siya sa akin sa likod ng mga mata niya dahil ang nakikita ko lang ay ang nararamdaman niya para sa akin.

Is he really hiding nothing from me or do I just not see?

"May jam ka ba ninyo rito?" Dumistansya ako sa kanya at pumunta sa kusina. I go to the counter and lean back. I grabbed it with my hands behind my back and jumped to sit down. I slowly sat up and touched my stomach. When I saw Marcus coming in, I removed my hand from my stomach.

"Strawberry jam namin?" paninigurado ni Marcus. Iniwan niya ang cupcake sa counter at lumapit sa mga cabinet.

"Yes. I missed it."

"I have it here." He reached for the top of the cabinet and opened it. My eyes widened and covered my mouth when I saw that part of that cabinet was full of strawberry jams.

"Ang rami," I whispered.

"Here." I accepted the jam he gave me. I held it with my hands, afraid that it might fall to the floor and break. Marcus left me and came back holding a spoon. I also accepted it and opened the lid of the jam. When I finally opened it, I immediately put the spoon inside and at pinuno ang kutsara ko. I ate and I moaned as my eyes widened in delight.

"Ang sarap talaga!" Kumuha ulit ako ng jam at isinubo.

"Really?" He hugged me and watched me eat strawberry jam.

"Pero....." I swallowed the jam inside my mouth and stared at the bulge between his thighs. "Maybe it tastes better if I put it in yours." Umiwas ako ng tingin at kumain ng maraming jam kaya napuno ang bibig ko. He fell silent at what I said and backed away a little from me. My forehead furrowed as Marcus looked around before his eyes stopped at me. He cleared his throat and looked down at the floor, thinking.
