Chance
"I wanna behead them," I said after telling mama what happened over the phone.
"Anak, kumalma ka. Naiinis ka lang. Hayaan mo na"
"She even wants me to go back to the hospital. She really thinks I'm a psycho, mama. No, they all think I'm a psycho"
"Hayaan mo at patapos naman na ang bahay na pinagawa mo. Makakaalis ka rin dyan. Tiis-tiis muna, anak"
"Yeah, I will not bring Tiger with me so send Wolfie here," I said then Tiger barked. Mama laughed.
"Alam mo namang nagseselos si Tiger kay Wolfie. Para kang bata, anak!" she laughed harder when Tiger didn't stop barking. I turned to Tiger.
"Bark more, I'll really leave you here" he stopped barking but he whined.
"Ewan ko sayo, Az. Sige na at may lakad ka pa. Mag-ingat kayo ha?" she said and hang up. I went out of my room and Tiger tailed me.
"I won't bring you today" he then whined.
"Just go and play with your new owner" he turned his back and ran back to my room.
"We're ready!" said Mama Tessa then she winked, behind her is Alexia.
"Where are you going," lola asked. Then the two looked at me.
"Shopping," I said and checked my phone. I turned to the two.
"Luke's outside, let's go"
Before finally going out, I heard Tiger barked so I looked back. There he is running with my military bag. I have no choice but to bring him.

"Sinama mo ko para may taga-bitbit kayo? Wow ah?" reklamo ni Luke na puno ng paper bag ang magkabilang kamay.
"Malaki naman ang katawan mo" sabi ni Mama Tessa at tumawa. Si Alexia naman ay tahimik lang.
"Let's eat" sabi ko at pumasok sa isang restaurant.
I ordered enough food for us. While waiting for our food, some crew were looking at us, especially Tiger. Then a girl bravely come to us and said
"Excuse me, hindi po pwede ang aso dito" she said all smiles.
"Hindi naman po siya nakakaistorbo sa ibang costumer, miss kaya pwedeng dito na lang po yung aso?" sabi ni Luke.
"Pasensya na po, sir. Hindi po pwede eh."
"How much?" I asked. She turned to me, her smile faded.
"Uh.. yung bill ninyo po? I'll check—"
"No, this whole restaurant," I smirked.
"Cian" pigil ni Luke.
"My dog will eat outside, then" I said then Tiger whined. The girl then leave.
"It's your punishment for playing with that stupid boy. Go and wait outside" I said and he whined more then he turned his back.
"Ganon talaga ang anak ni Mayette. Spoiled brat! Pangit pangit ng ugali gwapo sana. Kapag nandyan ang lola mo sobrang bait non!" sabi ni Mama Tessa.
"Ang sabi pa noon, kamukha daw ng papa mo iyang si Shone" bulong niya pa. I automatically turned to her.
"What?" I asked.
"Oo! Baka pinaglihian ni Mayette. Kasi si Mayette may pagtingin sa papa mo kaso hindi siya napapansin. Hindi naman natin masisisi ang papa mo, sa ganda ba naman ng mama mo may papansinin pa siyang babae?" sabi ni Mama at natahimik nang dumating ang pagkain namin.
I stood up to give Tiger his food but there's a girl rubbing him and a guy standing behind the girl, watching them. I walked towards them.
"Hands off" I said. Tiger then wag his tail when he saw the food. I put it down and he started to eat.
I faced the two and recognized the guy.
"Cian" he said.
" 'Shan' " I said to correct his pronunciation.
"Oh, How are you?" he asked. My brows shot up.
"I mean how's your foot" he then looked away.
"It's fine." I said and took some money.
"It's a payment for your service" and he count the money. He then looked at me with wide eyes.
"T-Ten Thousand? That's too much" he said.
"It's also for the small cut on your neck" I said.
"Small cut?" the girl he's with asked.
"Ah, Cian meet Crystal, my best friend" he said.
"Hi, I'm Crystal" she said and held out her hand for a shake. I only looked at her hand. Sean was quick to put her hand down.
"Uh, nice to meet you" she said. I nodded.
"Pleasure," I said and left them there.

I was preparing to sleep when mama called.
"Az, papasok ka sa IISS," bungad niya.
"Ma, ang sabi ko ayaw ko" sabi ko at inayos ang unan
"Kung ayaw mo, mabubuhay ka na lang ba na pangalan mo lang ang alam mo? Ayaw mo bang mahanap ang mga magulang mo? Kaya ka umuwi dyan para mahanap sila hindi ba?" natigil ako sa ginagawa dahil sa sinabi niya.
"I went here because I messed up the mission last time. Mr. Vallen kicked me out. I lost my position. I'm also on the run, mama. Wanted ako diyan sa Germany. Kung isasali mo ko sa IISS, there's a possibility that I will die so how can I search for my parents?"
"Kung nasa IISS ka lahat ng impormasyon tungkol sayo ay confidential. May team ka, hindi ka nila pababayaan. Requirements at konting training lang kapag nagawa mo lahat ikaw ang magiging Captain ng grupo. Kung ikaw ang captain hindi mo na kailangang pumunta sa misyon dahil plano lang ang gagawin mo." sabi niya.
"Prepare all of my fake birth certificates and ID's, then" I said and hang up.
"Another chance to risk my life to find my parents." I said before finally falling asleep.
