Hwayeon's POV

"So you're the infamous Park Jimin?" My dad questioned as all of us were seated at the dining table.

"In what way is he infamous?" I facepalmed, already tired of this whole 'Lets meet your parents' plan.

Proposed by Jams himself.

"Yes I am, sir." Jimin smiled radiantly, making me almost melt on the spot.

I even saw my mom smiling back instantly.

"Glad to finally meet you Jimin. And I must say, you have a lovely smile." She said, making me internally cringe.

"Thank you...Mrs. Park." He bowed his head.

"Oh please, don't be too formal dear."

"Anyways let's eat!!" I barged in, encouraging everyone to dig into the delicious meal mom had prepared.

"Do you perhaps, like Disney movies?" My sister questioned randomly.

"Hmm yes I do, one of reasons why I love visiting Disney land." Jimin spoke.

"Disney princesses?" She further asked.

"Yeah....they're really pretty." He replied almost instantly.

Really pretty huh?

"I KNOW RIGHT-"

"Sweetie let's not ask anymore questions and eat our food yeah?" Dad cut off my sister as she rolled her eyes yet smiling at Jimin before eating her food.

"So Jimin what's your plan after college?" Dad asked, earning a look of disapproval from me.

"Why this question?" I asked.

"Because why not? I asked him." Dad shrugged.

Jimin chuckled, patting my shoulder before looking back at dad.

"I'd like to work in the film and music industry actually. Like maybe a director or editor. Otherwise I've already applied in a few modeling agencies and I think 2 of them have approved. Let's see, I think I'll finalize after I'm done with college." He explained carefully.

"With those visuals, I'd totally recommend being a K-pop idol but I've been watching those poor things struggle for life for a long time now, so I think modelling is a good scope!" Mom spoke.

"Hmm she's right. I think it wouldn't hurt to do 2 professions, but as long as you're comfortable with your job. Good for you." Dad nodded, making me mentally heave a sigh of relief.

I bet Jimin did too.

"Thank you Mr. Park." He smiled before finishing the contents on his plate

"I love your cooking Mrs. Park. I could totally come back for more." He complimented her with his signature crescent-eye grin.

Oh god.

"Ahh finally, someone who appreciates my cooking." Mom side eyed us, earning a look of betrayal from me, my dad and my sister.

We then continued to talk about life and other interests, Jimin being successful at impressing my parents and sibling.

Time skip~

"Oh dear you didn't have to...." Mom wrinkled her nose, watching Jimin who just finished washing the dishes.

"It's okay eomeoni. I usually do this at home too." He smiled, wiping his hands with a towel before walking towards me who waiting for him at the door.

We were going out since Jimin's mom had asked him to go get groceries earlier.

"Look how sweet and patient he is Hwayeon. Don't ever misbehave with him." Mom warned me, causing me to look at her as if I did the baddest thing in the world.
