Sobbing loudly I didn't even hear someone enter my room until I feel the bed dip. Lifting my head up from the pillow I look over my shoulder to see Legolas sitting on the edge of my bed with a concerned sadden expression. Not saying a word he holds his arms out for me and I immediately lean into his embrace and cry into his chest as he holds me close to his body. Crying into Legolas's chest, he rubs my back gently and lets me cry. After crying for I don't even know how long I go silent as I have no more tears to cry about the situation I just keep my head buried in Legolas's chest. "Brynn I'm truly sorry." He whispers knowing how hurt I am.

"I don't even understand, Kili and I've known each other longer than he's known Tauriel and he seems so in love with her." I whisper my voice cracking.

"He's just liking the new attention from another woman Brynn, but I know he cares about you and must have some feelings for you." He explains softly.

"Then why is he acting like this? Especially around her? He has constantly acted like he wants to be with me throughout this journey we've been together, and then Tauriel shows up and he's completely love struck." I say as more tears run down my cheek remembering the look on his face when he chatted with her which causes another sob to escape.

He shakes his head as he wipes my tears away again. "I couldn't tell you Brynn, I wish I could, but I can't." He sighs pulling me into a hug again. Nodding into his chest I let some tears fall down my face again wetting his clothes. Taking a deep breath I stay quiet while Legolas rubs my back gently which starts putting me into a lull, but I also feel tired all of a sudden due to what just happened in the last few minutes or hours I have no idea. Sighing softly I feel Legolas gently taking out the white beads and butterflies out of my hair.

Legolas's Pov

Looking down I see Brynn fast asleep against my chest with dried tears staining her cheeks. Sighing softly I feel so sad for Brynn she clearly likes that black haired dwarf, and how he's acting is hurting her in more ways than that dwarf knows. Gently standing up I lay Brynn in bed and pull the blankets over her body. Kissing her head gently I leave her room and shut the door quietly as possible so I don't disturb her sleep. Taking a deep breath I leave her door and notice no noise which means the feast is over. Walking through the elven halls I go look for father before I head to bed myself. Walking into the direction to the throne room some elves that I pass bow down in respect to which I nod as I continue making my way to the throne room.

Walking up the path to the throne room I get closer to father's throne to not see him sitting in throne. Stopping in my tracks that leads up to the stairs to father's throne I wonder where he would be when the feast is over. Study room. I turn on my heel making my way to father's study room knowing he must be there working on something before he goes to bed. Strolling down the hall that will eventually lead me to the study room I see elves heading towards their bedrooms to go to bed which I don't blame them it's getting late. Arriving to the study room door I see a light from the other side. Knocking on the door I wait for father to give me permission to walk in. After waiting a bit I hear father say enter. Opening the door I walk in to see father sitting behind his desk with some papers and books scattered around him. "Where did you vanish off to during the feast?" He asks keeping his gaze on the papers on his desk.

"Comforting Brynn." I answer.

"Comforting Brynn? Why were you comforting her?" He asks his head snapping up at my words.

"Because she was crying and I wanted to make sure she was okay....even though I don't think she is."

"Why was she crying?" He asks giving me his full attention by standing up from his desk.

"It's kinda of a long story." I sigh looking at father.

"I don't care how long the story is. I was just inform my daughter was crying and I want to know why." He explains folding his arms over his chest walking over to me.

"I went looking for Tauriel since she wasn't at the feast when she said she would be, so when I eventually found her. I saw something that made me decide to go and get Brynn knowing she deserved to know what I saw. Once I found Brynn outside of the feast I took her down to the dungeons since that was where I found Tauriel."

"Why was she in the dungeons?" Father asks.

"I'm not entirely sure why she was down there, but she was talking with the black haired dwarf." I inform.

"The one who likes Brynn?" He asks dropping his arms and grabbing his cup of wine and sipping it.

Nodding slowly I sigh slightly while dragging a hand down my face. "I'm not entirely sure about that now....which is why Brynn is, well was crying."

"Why do you say that?" His brows furrow in confusion.

"The way he was talking to Tauriel was upsetting Brynn. He's been flirting with her since the moment they met and basically forgets about Brynn when Tauriel is around. And it was too much for Brynn, which led her to go to her room and that's where I found her crying, so I stayed and comforted her."
Father nods taking a deep breath while clenching his jaw knowing some dwarf indirectly made his daughter cry. "I know you won't believe this with what I am about to say Ada, but she really likes him and truly cares about him." (Father/dad)

He looks at me in disbelief. "I fail to see how she still can when he's making her upset and feeling like nothing." He says shaking his head while sipping his wine again.

Thranduil's Pov

"I don't know either father, I just know that she's really hurt right now by his actions." Legolas explains. Nodding I down the rest of my wine knowing I need to check on my daughter before I head to bed. "Goodnight father."

"Night son." I say back closing the books on my desk so I can make sure Brynn is sleeping. Legolas nods and leaves to go to bed leaving me in my study room alone again. Sighing slightly I put the papers in a neat stack and then leave my study room shutting the lights off. Closing the doors behind me I walk in the direction of Brynn's room.

I think it's very sweet how both Legolas and her father are very caring of Brynn. And I figured let's get a view through her father's perspective for a bit. I just love how protective they are of Brynn and are not happy with how Kili's treating her. Please comment and vote!!
