"How will I know if you won't teach me?"

I can't get words out of my mouth, I locked my gaze on her for a long, anxious minute. Ano'ng klaseng espiritu sumapi rito? Kung makatanggi nga kanina akala mo takot sa tubig tapos ngayon?

She's mastered being unpredictable, I wonder what's on her mind at this moment because I am too fucking high for this now.

"How long are you going to stare at me, Veneracion?" tila bagot na reklamo niya, kanina pa pala niya natanggal 'yung gold watch niya at nasa gilid na ito ngayon kasama ng sandals niya.

"I'm just gonna stare at you until you marry me," I say looking directly at her beautiful face, too worthy of admiration and praises.

"I bet you say that normally to all women, player."

"Ampunin mo nalang kaya ako ma'am kung ayaw mong hinaharot ka ng magaganda," I grin softly, teasing her. "Bahay ampunan ka ba?"

To which she replies,

"What is it again?"

"I wanna give you kids," titig na titig ako sa mga mata niya, malupit na ngiti ang ginawad ko nang mauna siyang kumurap sa 'kin.

"That mouth," her glare sharpens, in a wise, superior and slightly annoyed manner. "..is as bad as, like, whatever."

"Don't underestimate my mouth, professor," I smirk. "Baka pagsisihan mo.."

"Are you on drugs or something?" she scoffs.

"Something," balik ko, nang-aasar pa rin. "Something like love.."

"The joke is dry, but clever," she replied, like a judge and with a bold quip of her own. "I have no quick fix for a mouth like yours, stop playing around.."

"What if I'm not?" my playful smile widening by the second.

"Matapang ka na ngayon?" her eyes blazed with savage darkness.

I lost in her statement, ang anghang niya magtirada talaga, nawawala pagkaastig ko kaya ako natotorpe, eh.

My heart lit with a fire of decision, so I took a step closer and offered my hand before she could get up and leave me here by myself. In silence, a protest wavers on her eyes and lips.

"Professor Cordova, you have to be brave with me today," ang bagal gumalaw ng mga kamay niya kaya hinila ko na siya kapalit ng gulat na sigaw niya dahil sa pagkabigla.

"Veneracion!" a loud scream escaped her mouth as if she hopelessly fell in a dangerous hole with me.

Hindi mataas ang tubig dito banda dahil hanggang dibdib ko lang, kailangan naming manatili sa mas mababaw na parte muna para maturuan ko siya ng maayos at ligtas.

"Are you being serious about this, ma'am?" paninigurado ko.

"Now really?" she huffs slightly, pulling her hand from me.

Nagtaas baba ang tingin ko sa kanya, nakalubog na ang halos buong katawan niya sa tubig. Pilya akong napangiti, "You're all wet, Professor Cordova."

"Let's be serious, Miss Veneracion," she rebuts with her straight facial expression, seryoso na nga.

"Kanina pa ako hindi nagbibiro, ma'am," I chuckle. Binura ko ang mapaglarong ngiti sa muka ko dahil sa talim ng tingin niya.

"Can we just start?"

She starts giving me instructions, her bossy demeanor is making her appear as the person teaching here and I'm just her student as always. Gently, I whipped my head side to side with amusement being written on my face.
