Nanginginig pa rin ang mga kamay ko habang nakatitig sa message thread namin, buong biyahe ay nakangiti ako na parang tanga.

"I badly wanna see you right now," pigil ngiting pag-amin ko sa kanya, hindi ko kasi alam ang sasabihin ko sa text kaya tinawagan ko na. I thought she was going to drop the call but she answered that made my heart race and my insides turn over.

"For what?" her bedroom voice is delicate and breathy, making me want to record it and use it as my alarm clock's ring tone.

"Ayaw mong makita special someone mo?" pang-aasar ko sa kanya. "Someone's outside your house.."

Gabi na kaya alanganin na ang oras at dahil hindi pa ako handang magpakita sa daddy niya; sa tapat ng bahay na lang ako ng kapit bahay nila tumambay dala ang bike ko.

"Special someone?" there's a long pause before she speaks up again after realizing what I mean, "Do you know what time it is right now?"

"I didn't notice the time," tiningnan ko orasan ng phone ko, pasado alas dose na. "Ang alam ko lang mga loyal at mapagmahal na lang ang gising sa mga oras na 'to.."

"Why are you here?"

"Kailangan mo 'kong panindigan that's why I'm here ma'am, this is an emergency," ngumisi ako, hindi maalis-alis ang kilig sa sistema ko; kahit pa may rabies kiss niya, handa akong maulol mahalikan ko ulit siya.

"When I set that nickname.." humina ang malambot na boses niya, I can imagine her slightly changing her position in her bed because of the sudden noises. "What I mean there was you're funny and.."

"What did you say?"

"You're the 'nothing' when someone ask me why I'm smiling," banat ko, God, I really missed flirting her.

"Oh?"

"Proceed to your window, I'm just here. Wag kang mag-alala, hindi kita papatalunin," para akong ewan na nakangiti rito sa labas, prenteng nakaupo sa bike ko habang nag-aabang sa kanya.

She takes a deep breath, "What if ayoko?"

"I'm going there by any means necessary," pabulong kong bigkas sa phone ko.
