What she said put an amused twinkle in my eyes long before the lopsided smile began, which I quickly diminished.

"Never again-" I trailed off and shut my eyes tightly after receiving a sweet slap on my both cheeks.

Clearly, she's got annoyed with my answer.

"Stand up, please help yourself, Veneracion," utos niya, mahina ang boses niya dahil parang kinakalma pa niya ang sarili.

I need to remind myself of something I promised and then: I ought to continue with the icy behavior she witnessed at the airport last year. Times have progressed; I've decided to tone down my slutty attitude and the flirty manner I used to behave around her.

I'm speechless, nakakapanghina siya magalit.

Sa shower room palang noon, tumba na ako sa kanya kahit walang gin.

Bakit ko ba kasi siya hinamon?

There's something that I'd like to know more about her na alam ko rin namang hindi niya masasagot kung sakali mang hindi niya ako tinanggihan kanina.

It won't change anything unless she tells me straight now if I ask, but I'm sure it won't be that simple again. I need to do something, but I still want to process myself and think about it more rather than behaving on impulse.

"Too late," I snobbed with a half chuckle, I let my head get stuck through the wall behind me.
