The cart shook slightly as Jaxx got on, his light footsteps joining the soft twinkle of the melody that was playing from the ferris wheel. He sat down on the comfy seat before looking back at Sora, who stood nervously outside the cart. Extending his hand out, Jaxx gave the bluenette a warm smile, encouraging him to go on. Sora took his hand gently, his fear not in sight yet as his feet were still planted on the ground. He climbed into the small cart, situating himself on the seat in front of Jaxx. There was enough room for two passengers on each side, but Sora would rather look at his lover's face.

"Ready?" asked Jaxx as he glanced over at Sora, who had started to tap his foot nervously. He nodded back, his smile fading a bit as the ride started moving. The red head detached his gaze from Sora as he looked out the window, eagerly pointing at the tops of buildings that could be seen as the cart traveled upwards. Seeing as Sora had gone quiet, he turned his attention back to his boyfriend to be met with the bluenette's head tucked in between his legs, his hands covering his eyes.

Jaxx didn't say anything, instead he extended his hand out towards Sora, grabbing his right hand gently. He stayed quiet as he turned his attention back to the outside world, his thumb softly tracing Sora's hand. The shorter let out a whimpered, "How high up are we?" his sapphire eyes still closed shut.

"Not that high..." Jaxx muttered in reply as he peered at the floor below them, flinching slightly as Sora tightened his grip on the taller's hand. He looked back into the cart's interior, his eyes locking with Sora's figure, who had sat back up and was breathing slowly.

"You okay?" He asked, his tone showing a hint of concern. The bluenette nodded slowly, his eyes glued on their intertwined hands. Jaxx went back to rubbing Sora's hand gently before asking why he had wanted to go on the ride in the first place, earning a simple shrug from Sora.

"I guess I'm just trying to face my fears, y'know?" He replied, a weak chuckle escaping his lips as he trailed his eyes up to Jaxx's face, not once looking outside the cart. The red head nodded back, a soft scowl on his face. He got up slowly, careful not to bump his head on the roof of the cart, and sat next to Sora. The bluenette's grip on Jaxx's hand loosened, allowing him to let go of Sora's hand.

His actions earned a pout from the cyan boy, Jaxx chuckling lightly as he wrapped his arm around Sora. "Don't worry, I won't let you go." He said softly as he gave Sora a quick peck on his forehead before turning his attention back to the night sky. The butterflies in Sora's stomach started to shift, no longer made up of fear, but of happiness.

"Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to get on the ferris wheel." Sora muttered as he gently rested his head on Jaxx's shoulder, looking out the window for the first time, his eyes shining as he looked at the star speckled sky. Jaxx glanced back at him, a soft smile forming on his lips as he took in the beauty of his moonlit boyfriend.

Hihi! As promised, here is the inspired oneshot! It's short, I know... But I didn't really know what to write since this was mainly inspired by yesterday's scene- I think it's still cute tho, it is what it is 🤷‍♀️ Anyway yea, yesterday's vlog absolutely killed me, in a good way ofc. The Soraxx moments were 10/10, and it was overall really funny! Still haven't watched today's vlog, but I'm pumped up to do so!! Anywayyy, hope you enjoyed reading, and as always, stay safe! <333
