Stupid Idiot. Freak. Freaky, Idiotic, Stupid Freak. That was all she could think of to describe herself in this moment. It was now five in the morning and she was sitting in the empty intern locker room, just hoping that she would come up with some way out of being Meredith Grey. Her reasoning being that Meredith Grey was an idiot. A stupid idiot who just told the man she loves Mom that they were actually in love.

That was a bad a idea. And now, she had run away from the man she loves and his mother. That had to qualify her as an idiot. Because normal and sane people didn't confess their love before storming out. Idiot.

"Nice hiding spot." Derek said, interrupting her thoughts.

"Crap." She groaned, her head hitting the wall. Ouch. That hurt, except not enough to get her out of this situation. Crap.

"Crap." He chuckled, leaning back against the lockers.

"You can go now."

"Hmmm...No thanks."

"What are you doing?" She frowned, her eyes closed.

"Standing here...watching you." He replied.

"Stalker."

"You ran away."

"So you noticed that?"

"I did." Derek nodded, sitting down next to her.

"Hmm...." She bit her lip, opening her eyes.

"You're in trouble."

"Oops." She sighed, her expression dry.

"Very convincing." He laughed.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She snapped.

"I came to find you." He sighed.

"That's stupid."

"It would be...If I wasn't in love with you."

"Bull."

"Mer...Come on."

"We could get caught...right now." Meredith pointed towards the door. "Someone could walk in..."

"We're not doing anything." Derek replied.

"We could get caught for something...this is probably still not appropriate and you don't even care."

"We're talking."

"About me running out this morning after I told your mother how we love each other." Meredith swatted at his arm.

"She looked like she just won the lottery when you told her that." Derek laughed, swatting her back.

"You're my boss."

"We're back to that now?"

"It's not like you give a shit."

"I do."

"Sure." Meredith rolled her eyes.

"Stop doing that."

"Doing what?"

"Rolling your eyes at me."

"I'll roll my eyes if I want."

"Are you seriously mad at me?"

"No...yes....I don't even know." She whispered.

"That's...okay...That helps." He laughed.

"I don't even know....what to do or what any of this means."

"Why do we have to do anything?"
