"Lan Gongzi, Lan er Gongzi, and Wei Gongzi?" A disciple questioned entering Mingshi.

"What is it?" My brother asked.

"Young master Jiang and Young Master Jin were caught fighting and are waiting in Yashi for you to give a proper punishment," the disciple said.

The three of use, including Wei Ying, looked at the disciple, "why?" Wei Ying asked.

"Jin Gongzi insulted young lady Jiang in front of Young Master Jiang and it angered him. He started with a punch," the Lan disciple explained.

My brother left as soon as Lady Jiang was mentioned. I looked at Wei Ying with an 'I told you he had a thing for your Shijie' look. Wei Ying chuckled at my look that was directing to my brother. We followed after him to Yashi to see what exactly happened.

"You insulted my Jie Jie!" Wanyin yelled as Yanli, Wei Ying and I enter Yashi.

"Jiang Cheng," Wei Ying interjected, "I dislike this peacock just as much as you do but words are more powerful the weapons. You know fighting will get you no where!"

"I see crazy doesn't fall far in the family," Jin Zixuan mumbled.

"You just want him to talk like that about our family?" Jiang Wanyin asked?

"Your family is a mess anyway, a temperamental heir, a mediocre maidan, and a son of a servant," Jin Zixuan said.

"You!" Wei Ying was about to lung forwarded but I wrapped my arms around him to keep him from doing something he will regret, "Jin Zixuan, what is it about my shijie you do not like? You don't even know her!"

My brother stepped in front of me, "Jin Gongzi, you should be careful what you say about Wei Wuxian around my little brother, he will take libs if you are not careful. Also, Young lady Jiang is so much nicer then you think, and she is beautiful the way that she is. She loves her brothers as brothers, and treats them as such. And she is going to improve her cultivation and make you regret your words," my brother said in defense.

Everyone was fairly shocked about my brother's words. I was not surprised as I had a feeling he liked her. Wei Ying blinked as he realized what I told him may actually be true.

"Jiang Yanli," Xiongzhang said and looked at her, "don't listen to what he says. You are smart, an excellent cook, caring and you have such a warm personality. I know how your relationship is your A'Xian. And for this matter, I will have to inform your parents."

"Thank you Sect Leader Lan," Yanli said smiling at him with adoration.

"You can call me Xichen if you like," Brother told her.

"Sure, you can call me Yanli, or A'Li," she said.

Wei Ying and I just looked at them with a big smile on our faces. Jin Zixuan stormed out and went to go reflect for the time being.

"Yunmeng is going to be overrun by Lans," Jiang Wanyin mumbled.

"Excuse me?" Xiongzhang questioned and then looked at Wei Ying and me, "you two, stop it."

"What?" We said together.

"Xichen-Ge, if you like my Shijie, I definitely approve," Wei Ying said happily.

"A'Xian," Yanli blushed, "mind your words."

"Am I wrong?" Wei Ying asked, "Lan Zhan informed me about his suspicions between you two."

"Really Didi?" Brother asked, "for gossiping behind my back that's copying the rules ten times while doing headstands. Both of you," Brother said. He was not suggesting he was telling.

"Okay," I said, "come Wei Ying, let's go do our writing and let the love birds chat."

"I agree," Wei Ying said, "how will I while doing a headstand?"

"Will help Wei Ying," I told him as we left for our punishment.

It did not take long for me to finish my punishment. It took Wei Ying a bit longer then me only because he had never done a writing punishment while upside down. Brother came to us after Jiang Wanyin and Jin Zixuan were dealt with. A letter had been sent to both sects telling of the incident that happened.

"You two actually did the punishment?" Xiongzhang asked teasingly.

"Yes," I answered as Wei Ying finished, "you said to."

"Don't talk gossip again and you won't be punished again," he said.

"It was just with Wei Ying, we didn't share with anyone else," I told him.

"Xichen-Ge, do you like my Shijie?" Wei Ying teased but then became serious, "honestly, if you did, I would not mind it. She needs someone who will treat her lovely and respectfully. Accept her for who she is and as she is. As I don't remember much from the past, I just hope her future is better."

My brother listened to Wei Ying whole heartedly and smiled at him, "I might like her. I have not figured out my feelings yet, but I do like her as a person and her willingness to be there for those she cares about. Jin Zixuan had issues with her in the past and I see it is still the same. Although they married then, I don't know their whole story."

Wei Ying nodded, "well, if you need to be won over, eat a meal she made. Her cooking is the best a person to ever have."

"I will keep that in mind," Brother said, "for the time being, don't push things too much on her or me. There is a lot alright to deal with."

"Hey, I just realized something," I said.

"What?" Wei Ying asked.

"Last time, Wei Ying attacked Jin Zixuan for his insults to his shijie," I told them, "this time it is Jiang Wanyin."

"Jiang Cheng'd temper is already bad as it is," Wei Ying said, "it would not surprise me if his temper get him into more trouble."

"His temper could be his downfall," I said.

"But going back to what you said, Lan Zhan, the butterfly effect is happening, there could be more than what we are aware of," Wei Ying theorized.

"For the time being, we will have to wait to hear from the Jiangs again," Xiongzhang said, "in the mean time, Wangji, you have your private class with Huaisang and Yanli in a little while. You should go prepare."

I nodded and turned to Wei Ying, "I will be back in Mingshi, come to me when you are done and we can grab something to eat," he told me. I nodded and we all agent our separate directions.
