"𝓞h my gosh oh my gosh, You guys heard right? They're finally here! In Toronto!" Mei rambled animatedly jumping up and down her bed—Currently as they screech over the Walmart version of Backstreet Boys, I find myself mindlessly filing my nails by Mei's study desk; I guess you can say I've trained myself to disassociate when they start going cult-mode on these boys. Just for once I'd really appreciate to talk about other things as a change!

"No way! I wanna see!" Abby tackled Mei resulting to a collision as all their eyes glued eagerly on the rectangular device they played tug wars with like a piece of meat thrown in a lion's den.

"Oh my gosh." Priya sounded just about five percent elated, but we all know there's firecrackers erupting throughout her system.

I sighed languidly not expecting any of their heads to crane my direction,

"Oh come on Y/n, have you tried liking them at all?" Miriam questioned simultaneously turning the radio's volume up—and I mean it's not like I don't like them, I just can't seem to find a reason to obsess over them.

"It's very hard to like them when I'm forced to listen to them against my will right now!" I shouted through the deafening music that reverberated on the walls—Mei lowered the volume knowing her parents..No, her mom. Will barge in here giving us a warning.

"Hey Y/n, you listened to the 4town disc I mailed you right?" Mei's tone was laced with caveat in every word she stretched I felt every eye in this room scanning me for a response.

I gulped the air in my windpipe apprehensively,

"Ohh... so the little yellow envelope that's been sitting on my front porch for three weeks now was from you? Heh." My voice was shaky as I tried to sheath it with humor, but she can see through my nervous titters, her eyes relaxed once again unamused but not surprised that I still haven't given in to their mania.

"Y/n how can you not obsess over these hot stuffs!" Abby hopped onto my field of vision shoving a poster of the said boyband on my face.

And then it hit me.

I've never seen the band up close like this when my friends would drool over their imagery because ninety-nine out of a hundred of a time, my head is bobbed down reading books!

Abby quickly retrieved back the poster going back with the cult as they squealed like chipmunks in the bubble of their own world.
