Chapter 6- Hotshot's fear...

Hotshot: I was running so fast. I had no clue why, but I was. I thought that I was running faster than the speed of light honestly. I had a weird but very strong sense of fear. the farther I ran. the more I wanted my feeling to go away. I knew I was scared. But... What was I scared of? I never looked behind me. But when I did............ I didn't for as long as possible. It was the scariest thing I had ever experienced. I hated it. I despised it. I wanted it to never come back to me again. Do you want to know what it was? It ... was my "father"...That's the end of my nightmare guys.

Whirl: alright but why your father?

Medix: When did your nightmare occur, Hotshot?

Hotshot: Last night... That's why I looked a little shaken during class.

Medix: Well, May I ask an obvious question?

Hotshot: obviously!

Medix: Of course... Anyways, why are you scared of your father? What did he do?

Wedge: Yeah, What he said.

Hoist: He's your father. You shouldn't hate him!

Hotshot: That's cause you all grew up with an actual caring adult to take care of you! My mum died when I was 6... I'm pretty sure that Drake went insane because of her death.

Whirl: Oh my primus! I'm so sorry for your loss!

Medix: Who is this, mr. Drake?

Hotshot: That's my father's name.

Hoist and Medix: Ohhh, okay.

Hotshot: You guys won't tell anyone in the academy anything about this whole conversation right? *Slightly scared impression on his faceplates*

His team: We won't!

Hotshot: Thank you, basically, he abused me, physically and emotionally. He killed my younger siblings as well... I have no clue why I still somehow loved him after that. My older sister was very protective of me though! Her name was Lillian! She was really nice! She sacrificed herself to save me by lighting my house on fire with her, and Drake in it. I watched her burn... it was very painful. She lied to me before that. She said that we were gonna run away. She made sure that I was the first out that door then locked me out. Fun fact: Scorch, Mock, and Glow have known me since I was first born. Those 3 found me on my doorstep screaming and crying as usual. They took care of me for a whole year. That's when I first went to the academy. I really miss most of my family. But anyways, that's why I am afraid of my stupid father

Whirl, Medix, Wedge, and Hoist: *Que the group hug!*

Hotshot: Thank you! I love you guys!

His team, with tears in their eyes: We love you too buddy!!!

Me (Sam): Please no hate. This is my AU. I left out lots of detail that didn't make sense. I don't really wanna confuse any of you! I have had this whole AU planned out in my head for months now! I just want to be able to write stuff without hate. Btw yes, I know this is cringe but, this is my FIRST book! So that should be understandable!

Me: Also, this is a side AU, where I tweaked a few things. First off, Drake actually died in this side AU, and the recruits were not childhood friends in this side AU. In my main AU, Drake escaped the fire without anyone knowing, and the recruits were childhood friends, who slowly had to move away from Hotshot, one by one. Once they were all reunited back at the academy, it took them until mid year 3 to realize they were all childhood friends, because Hotshot never revealed his last name. Sorry for any cringe-
