Weston and I didn't talk about that weird argument we had whilst filming, we just kind of carried on with things afterwards as if it didn't even happen. He never apologised and neither did I.
I watched him across the table eat his cereal whilst reading something, a drop of milk falling from the spoon onto his white tee without him noticing. But I noticed.
He was a loud eater, making it hard to think about anything else happening. I couldn't really explain it, but more and more things were starting to make me feel annoyed with Weston ever since i'd met him.
From the first time I saw him when he laughed at me singing in my car, him accidentally slamming the door in my face when I first went in the flat, and our bickering that seemed to come up repeatedly all made me frustrated.
Most of all, it was his relationship with Kalynn. They were obviously so close and I'm sure they have to be together, but he hasn't been explicit about it at all, and maybe it was in my head but in some moments between the awkwardness and teasing it felt like he was almost flirting with me.
I stood up suddenly, making him look up at me. "Where are you going so fast, then?" he asked.
"I just can't focus on my thoughts when you eat like that." I told him, and he laughed in response as I left the kitchen, walking down the hallway into my room.
As soon as I got into my room there was a knock on my door. "What?" I called out bluntly, lying back on my bed and sinking into the mattress.
Olivia stuck her head around the door before walking in and leaning against my desk. I sat up to look at her, she almost always wore purple and white, even now that she was just in some oversized boxers and a baggy t shirt she kept to her familiar colour scheme. She ran her hand through her hair, and her shag haircut looked messier than normal. I guess she'd just woken up.
"Anais, please will you come with me to this party tonight, it's only 45 minutes away and there's someone there I really like and-"
"Only 45 minutes?" I laughed.
"40! 35!"
"I don't know..." I said, thinking.
She clasped her hands together and looked at me with puppy dog eyes. "Please, I don't like walking around alone at night, and I really wanna go!"
"OK. Sure, I'll go." I told her. It didn't take much persuading.
"Tonight?" Kalynn said, making me and Olivia both jump. "Jesus!" I said, neither of us having noticed her come in and lean against my door frame, eating the same type of cereal Weston had been.
"Do you want to come?" Olivia asked her, and Kalynn shook her head no. "No, me and Weston have plans, we haven't spent enough time together recently."
So they are dating, I thought, a weird twang of jealousy snapped in my chest."Are you okay?" Olivia asked me, and I noticed them both looking at me blankly.
"Yeah, I just need to sleep so get out you guys." I said, rolling over.

I looked into my closet, feeling absolutely nothing.
Olivia and Kalynn were giggling, both sitting on my bed, doing each-other's makeup. "Stop laughing! I'm actually serious!" Kalynn giggled, trying to hold Olivia's head still to put on her eyeliner.
I looked back at my closet, still nothing. "Guys, I don't wanna go, I have no idea what to wear. Really."
Both girls jumped up and came over, rifling through my clothes. "I have something that would go with this skirt!" Olivia said excitedly, running out to her room. She came back in holding a little lacy dark red corset style top.
