It's been three weeks since Alex left to New York. I should be happier because he's gone, right? but, I felt empty. He left without a word when he is coming back. Well, I'm not his girlfriend, yeah and these mixed emotions is not really helping me at all. I'm so sick of it.

Why would I expect a goodbye from him? The heck, I'm his secretary!

Day after day, I was battling of resigning and just apply for my profession as a nurse. I like taking care of sick people. I like helping them. And for sure I'm always busy, it won't give me time to think about him.

Is Annabel with him? Of course, she's his girlfriend, silly! my inner-self, mocked.

I was unconsciously browsing online -again, and I've stumbled some of his photos with different sexy models. I know since he left, I go online and checked any updates about his life.

Hell yeah, I'm like a stalker.

After the proclamation of the New CEO and owner of the Clinston Engineering and Infrastructure Firm, he was all over the newspaper. It's been a while that there's a lot of speculation that I know about the firm since it was one of the biggest company in New York, who was the new chairman of the firm after so many years the old Clinston has been running it. And now the reporters are swarming all over him. They can't believe that the new owner was young and not just young, but one of the elusive bachelor of Spain. He became very popular.

For some reason, I felt so low and undeserving to him, and completely hopeless.

Thank God, Colton and Richard was a good company. I found out that Richard was dating one of the IT's. Colton and I go to lunch most of the days and he never failed to surprise me. Every day I get to know him better. He's very sweet. He had a very soft heart for dogs and cats. I know I've seen his jolly side but never his soft side. I caught him teary-eyed after he talked to his mom. Apparently, he's a momma's boy, not in a bad way, perse. He's just the guy that is flexible and not embarrassed to show his real emotions.

Since Mara and I met, we decided to hang out every weekend. I really missed her. She still looks beautiful despite her pregnancy. You know, some people says if you get pregnant you grew bigger and dry which makes you ugly, but it seems it contradicts what people say. Mara was more beautiful.

And yes, I remember the whole IT team will celebrate for their success with the VTC, tonight at the La Espanya club. A very famous and luxurious club here in Barcelona. Colton as the Manager invited me. We were still hanging out but as a friend. Although he's still hoping one day I will finally fall for him.

Just as I started preparing to leave, my phone rang. I pick it up without bothering to check as I kept on tidying up my desk. Alana will be back in a week.

"Nicki, It's Colton. Are you ready? I'll come pick you up and drop you off at your place." Colton offered as soon as it connected. It's already our routine. He comes pick me up and drop me off after work.

"Still cleaning my desk. I should be done in a few minutes." I reassured him as I put the pens and pencils on the pencil holder. I shut the computer off and waited till it's completely off.
