Adani's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes, and immediately, the thoughts of my fiancé, cheating, began circling in my head.

Gathering myself and my composure, I returned to the table. Destiny and Coral followed behind.

"Finally. Let's order. I'm starving," Wayan said and gestured to a waitress standing not too far away from us.

"I'll have the fillet mignon - well done, mashed potatoes, the garden salad and vegetable rice please," Destiny spoke first. She closed her menu and handed it to the waitress.

"I'll have the same as she's having," Coral spoke next.

I eyed her and the necklace once again.

"And you, ma'am?" the waitress asked as she approached my side of the table.

"I'll have the grilled lobster, sweet potato fries, vegetable rice and green salad. For my drink, I'll have the passion fruit juice please," I spoke up.

The men ordered next.

"Oh, a glass of red wine for me," Destiny chimed.

"I'll have sparkling water," Coral said.

Thirty awkward and almost silent  minutes later, the delicious looking and smelling food arrived to the table.

Immediately, I began eating. The delicious  taste of the lobster almost took my mind of the things I wanted to scream about.

"Sweetie, you cleaned your plate. You enjoyed it, huh?" Wayan asked me.

"Yeah. Magnificent," I answered.

"Are you okay?" he asked in a whisper.

I eyed him. I was questioning myself on questioning him in the presence of everyone or in the privacy of our home or vehicle. But it appeared that everyone sitting around the table already knew what was going on and were only putting up an act.

"I have to talk to you, and it's important," I started.

"Right now?" he asked, "Excuse us for a moment..."

"No. We can talk right here. I have an impression everyone already knows," I said, drawing the eyes and attention of everyone else.

Wayan came closer to me in a whisper. "Adani, I swear if you make a scene at the table, the night wouldn't end nicely for you."

"What are you going to do, huh? Describe the ways you'll hurt me, make me cry, boost your manly ego. Go ahead and do it."

"No more wine for you," Collin said, earning him some laughter from the others.

"Shut up," I snapped.

"Adani! You're being rude. Now isn't the time and this isn't the place to throw one of your little tantrums. You need to stop," Wayan spoke up.

"She obviously has something on her mind, Wayan, why not let her speak?" Coral said, as she unnecessarily flipped her weave.

Wayan eyed her dangerously.

"Coral, where did you get that necklace?" I directed to her.

"Wayan gave it to me," she answered proudly and challenging.

"Coral!" Destiny snapped, "Don't."

"Nah, if she wants the answers to her questions, I'll gladly provide her with them."

"Ladies, let's not start this. We're at a restaurant, there are other people here. We don't want to make a scene," Justin played peacemaker.

"I can see this escalating into something I don't want to be apart of or witness," Destiny spoke again.
