"Hey mister architect, take a look at this design and point out its flaws. I'd appreciate it if you will also give me some fruity advices here and there."

Reious did not respond to Nadiel and just took his laptop from him. He looks at the 3D design of a car in the screen and scan it.

"This is good," he said and gave it back to Nadiel. "How about we have some of our architects and engineers to work with some projects together?"

"An architecture firms collaborating with a car manufacturer? That's odd, but that's not a bad thing." He said, "But why are you smiling? Aren't you supposed to be heartbroken?"

Taka namang tumingin si Reious kay Nadiel habang nilalagyan ang baso niya ng alak. "Pinagsasabi mo? Heartbroken pa rin ako."

"So bakit nakangiti ka?"

"Liquor might have affected me in a weird way so I looked like I am smiling, but I was actually stopping myself from crying."

Napairap naman si Nadiel sa kasinungalingan ni Reious sabay sandal ng likod sa sandalan ng couch niya saka salita habang tinatapos ang ginagawa niya sa laptop niya.

"So, break na nga talaga kayo?"

Kumibit-balikat si Reious habang nakasimangot sabay tungga ng inumin niya. "Sabi niya."

Kahit gusto niya pa pero ayaw na ng kasintahan niya, wala na siyang magagawa. 

Reious looked down and let out a heavy sigh.

"But I still think I need some closure so next week, I will go to her workplace and talk to her."

"I hope you won't get chase away."

"What am I? A dog?" Reious said with a sour expression on his face, "I'll just heal my bruise and talk to her."

Natawa naman si Nadiel.

"Akala ko wala kang pake sa itsura mo kasi puro ka gala kahit my malaking pasa ka sa mukha, so you did care for your appearance, huh?"

"I didn't until my employees started showing their concern after seeing my bruise in our meeting a few hours ago. They were asking if I am being mistreated and abuse, only then did I realize how bothering it is to see an adult man in his twenties to have a bruise on his face the size of a fist."

Ngumisi naman si Nadiel, "Yan kasi, inaway-away mo pa si Yana. Yan tuloy, hindi lang broken heart ang natamo mo, pati pasa sa mukha."

"I did not fought with Yana, it's just a misunderstanding."

"Whatever you say." Sabi ni Nadiel sabay tayo, "Alis na nga ako at lumalalim na ang gabi. Akala ko pa naman umiiyak ka parin dahil nakipaghiwalay sayo si Yana, but I see that you're already fine. Keep it up and goodluck, welcome back to the life of single men. At nareceive ko na pala yung order ko kaya hindi mo na kailangang isipin yon."

Natawa naman si Reious sa sinabi ni Nadiel saka pinanood itong iligpit ang mga gamit niya bago umalis. He stared at the silent door where Nadiel left before slowly lied down on his couch.

Napaangat siya ng kamay saka marahang hinaplos ang pasa niya sa mukha.

It hurts a little when he touch it, but Reious can't complain. This bruise is the result of his wrong action and attitude. He's not even surprised if Yana was secretly cursing him.

Kinuha niya ang kaniyang selpon saka sinubukang tawagan si Yana ngunit hindi parin niya ito matawagan.

'Should I call Tedion?'
