* MALIA *

We waited for Bofur to bring the herb, and suddenly something shook the ground. I figured it must have come from above. Smaug woke up. Now I was even more worried about the others. Bard reassured his younger daughter Tilda, that everything would be fine. The girl was afraid that the dragon would kill us, but the archer said he would kill him first. He took out the last Black Arrow there was and went outside, leaving us alone with his children.

It's been a long time since the archer came out. Sigrid went outside to look for him. Fili nudged me and pointed at the ceiling. He was right to hear as if someone or something was walking on him. And it certainly didn't bode well. After a while we heard the girl scream and after a second the orcs came to the house. Some of them torn the roof down and attacked after a while. Fili ran to help the girls. Tilda was throwing plates at them, but that didn't help much, but what mattered was the willingness to help. Kili grabbed my hand and I turned to face him. He gave me a dagger and pointed to little Tilda. I turned towards the girl and saw another orc moving towards her. Not thinking much, I went to help her. The orc swung the sword I managed to deflect at the last moment.

"Tilda, hide! " I shouted at her, and as I turned back to the creature, I was hit with my sword and I fell to the ground.

The creature swung at me again, but I had rolled over and cut its leg. When he knelt in pain, I came from behind him and stabbed the dagger in the back, and after a while he was already lying dead.

More creatures entered the door and the roof. We fought them, but there were too many of them, so we barely got along. Suddenly I heard Kili's scream, and when I turned towards him, I saw one of the orcs knock him off the bed and aim his sword at him. I threw my dagger at the creature and after a while it fell dead.

"Lia, watch out! " Kili shouted.

I didn't have time to react. One of the orcs grabbed me from behind and threw me, and I flew across half the room, hit the wall, and fell to the ground. I hissed in pain. Creature was approaching me, and I had no way to defend myself. Fili and Oin fought with two more orcs, Kili, who, even though weakened, fought another orcs in defense of Bard's children, and Bain bravely helped him. I staggered to my feet and searched for some weapons. I saw a broom in the corner, so I grabbed it and swung at creature. He grabbed it with one hand and broke it in two parts. And I was left without a gun again.

"Malia, catch! "I heard someone's voice suddenly, and when I turned towards, I saw Legolas, which surprised me a lot. He threw the sword at me, which I caught just in time to deflect another orc's blow, which after a few moments was already lying dead.

After a while, Tauriel also appeared.

Kili ordered Bain to hide. The boy wouldn't listen, but after a few moments he did so. The orcs surrounded brunet so I ran to help him. I deflected the blow from the right side first, then quickly turned to the left to deflect another blow. I kicked orc on the right and slit open the other's stomach and pushed it through the door. Later I went back to fighting another creature. I reflected his blows, but in an instant I was surprised by orc who was standing behind me. He grabbed me and wrenched the sword from my hand. He was holding me and the other creature was about to stab my heart with his sword, but I didn't let them kill me that easily. I kicked his hand and his sword fell out. Creature looked at me in surprise. I didn't wait for what he would do next, but jumped up and leaning against creature that was holding me. I kicked the other with both legs. Orc was still holding me but I took advantage of it and started to move backward quickly until we hit the wall. Creature roared in pain and swung at me, but this time it wasn't me that deflected the blow, it was Tauriel. She twisted his arm and drove the dagger right through his heart. After a few moments, there wasn't a single orc left in the house.

"You killed them all. " Bain turned to Legolas.

"There are others. " Blond elf said and looked briefly at the boy and then headed towards the exit. "Tauriel, come. " He turned to the elf who was watching us help Kili lie back on the bed.

"We're losing him. " Oin said to her. Legolas looked at us as well.

"Tauriel. " The elven prince repeated and left the house.

Woman followed him, but stopped in the doorway. I couldn't watch Kili suffer so I ran over to her.

"Tauriel! " The girl turned towards me. I had no other choice, I knew it was an elf, and the elves perhaps we shouldn't trust, but I wasn't quite sure anymore. After all, not all are the same. I didn't want to lose Kili, so I asked her for help. "Tauriel, I'm begging you... Help him. " I said with tears in my eyes. "Only you can help him. You elves have your ways. Please... Help him. I can't lose him..." I looked back at Kli.

Even though she kept checking where Legolas was now, I knew she was listening to me.

Suddenly we heard someone coming up the stairs and we both took up arms. Fortunately, it was only Bofur with the herb we needed. Tauriel, seeing them, grabbed the herb from dwarf's hand and said something in Elvish, but I didn't understand what.

"What are you doing? " Bofur asked uncertainly.

"I'm going to save him. " She said and smiled at me.

* KILI *

Tauriel was preparing a medicine that was supposed to help me as well, and the others put me on the table. The pain in my leg didn't stop, it just got worse and it got worse.

"Malia, try it, it's your turn..." Fili said. "Try to calm him down. "

"Kili! Kili, look at me! " Lia took my face in her hands. "Calm down, it'll be okay. Kili, look at me. " She kept repeating and after a while I made her request. "Focus on my voice... "

Every word she said echoed in my head. I looked into her blue eyes, she was so beautiful. She looked like an angel in this light, surrounded by such... Such a bright aura. I couldn't describe it. Suddenly I heard Tauriel's voice too, she was speaking something Elvish and she put all the herb on my leg. I felt pain, such terrible pain. I screamed, I couldn't take it anymore.

"Kili! " I heard her voice. Her sweet voice. Lia was still there for me and was trying to calm me down. She was holding my hand now. I was so grateful to her for being with me all this time. Instead of going with Thorin, she chose to stay with me. I'll never forget her and I'll never forget it.. In fact, if it were about her, I wouldn't leave her either. I couldn't, she was too important to me, and I wouldn't bear to lose her. It would be as painful as the wound in my leg, or even a hundred times worse.

After a few moments my eyes saw darkness. I passed out, but I could still hear the voice, it was her voice. Malia was still with me.
