CHAPTER 62

Gab's POV
I'm here in the hospital busy checking Dr. Chavez's patient and later, perhaps in an hour I'll make rounds na dahil I have someone to meet around 7pm. Pinakuha ko din yung ibang records kay Nurse Jen coz I want to know previous records or observations about these patients so that I could compare.

It's already 6:20pm and katatapos ko lang gawin ang lahat. In fact, I'm good to go. While removing my white coat my phone ring and it's Gali so I immediately answered it.

*On call

Gab: Gali?

Imee: Gab are you busy?

Gab: Hindi naman. Why?

Imee: Pauwi ka na ba?

Gab: Actually I'm having dinner pa bago umuwi.

Imee: Dinner? Ah okay, sige next time nalang.

Gab: Bakit? May sasabihin ka ba?

Imee: Sana pero nevermind nalang muna.

Gab: Tell me na maaga pa naman eh.

Imee: You sure?

Gab: Yes po (then smile)

Imee: Okay. Ahm, I sent you something through email kasi and I want you to check it. Kulang kasi ng medical equipments dito eh so I can't figure out kung anong sakit nung matanda kanina.

Gab: Ah okay. Wait I'll check lang. Saang email mo ba sinend? Sa main or sa work purposes?

Imee: Work, Gali.

Gab: Oh okay. Kelan mo ito kailangan? Ngayon na ba?

Imee: Sana, kaya ba?

Gab: O-of course. Oo naman.

Imee: Ayown! Thank you.

Our conversation goes on until sa hindi ko na namalayan ang oras. While discussing to her about this disease that I figure out, Nurse Jen knocked the door so I excuse myself muna. As I went out of my office, I saw the girl that I was about to meet and have dinner with so I walk towards her and inform her na I can't make it. Maybe next time nalang.

Pagbalik ko sa office, Gali ask.

*still on call

Imee: Gali anong oras pala yung dinner mo?

Gab: Ah wag mo ng isipin yun, hindi na ako pupunta besides tinatamad din naman ako.

Imee: Sure?

Gab: Yah so going back, I think your patient has CAD.

Imee: Sabi ko na eh.

Gab: I can see blockage in her coronary arteries eh. Sabi mo din she suffers chest pain.

Imee: Ahuh!

Gab: So yun lang ba? Wala ka ng ibang ipapagawa?

Imee: Wala na. Thank you so much, Gali.

Gab: Always welcome. Anyway, I'll call you again tomorrow kasi pag-aaralan ko ulit 'to bukas and if I notice something, I'll update you right away.

Imee: Okay.

Gab: Wait, bakit wala akong naririnig na nagsasalita jan ng "love" ? (Then laugh)
