CHAPTER 63

Rod's POV
It's been several days and hindi natuloy ang pag-uwi ko noong nakaraang araw due to important matters that I need to do. In fact, ngayon palang ako makakauwi.

I'm currently driving back to the province na and I'm really excited to see my Lizzy again. I bought some of her favourite fun food para makabawi cuz I didn't inform her na ngayon ako babalik. Mom also cooked for our lunch dahil sigurado daw siyang na-miss ni Lizzy ang mga luto niya HAHAH Medyo assuming ang nanay ko noh? Pero sige, pagbigyan na.

I arrived at the site around 11am. While spraying perfume all over my shirt, Franky stopped infront of my car and I got confuse dahil abot hanggang tenga ang ngiti niya while talking someone over the phone. "Mukhang meron na namang kawawang nilalang ang nagkamali ah (then laugh)". After a second, she was shock because of the loud horn HAHAHA and I did that by the way (peace) para mawala yung ngiti niya.

As she ended the call, she placed her hands on her waist and wait for me to hopped out the car. I guess she recognise me even though I use a new car.

Franchesca: Kahit pa bago yang sasakyan mo, makikilala pa rin kita!

Rod: Kamusta pala dito? You didn't call yesterday ha, you didn't report anything.

Franchesca: Ayos lang! (then rolled her eyes)

When she tell those words, I stop then faced her. She notice na kumunot ang noo ko so she remove my glasses.

Franchesca: Oh bakit?! Kadarating mo lang, ganyan na naman ang mukha mo? Hindi na naman maipinta!

Rod: Bakit ka ba sumisigaw? Galit ka ba?

Franchesca: Tsk! Paanong hindi ako magagalit? Ikaw kaya ang businahan ko ng napakalakas, hindi ka magagalit?!

Rod: Sus! Sino na naman yung kawawang nilalang na yun?

Franchesca: Wala kang pake!

Rod: Luh! Sino nga? Concern ako dun sa tao, okay? Pagsasabihan ko lang before it's too late.

Franchesca: Ang kapal ng mukha mo ha! Akala mo naman tala—Hoy! Close na kami ng Chavez mo ha kaya wag mo akong iniinis. Baka nakakalimutan mo (crossed her arms) Madami akong alam tungkol sayo (devil smile)

After Franky tell those words, she walk away habang tumatawa so I followed her then get my glasses, tsk! Pagdating namin sa safe place, I saw Nico who's busy using his phone while si Angelo naman bumalik daw sa resort without telling anything so I called him.

Angelo: Bakit pre?

Rod: Nasa'n ka?

Angelo: Resort

Rod: Anong ginagawa mo jan? Diba dapat nandito ka.

Angelo: Eh basta, mamaya nalang ako babalik.

I didn't bother to speak pa, I just ended the call dahil halatang naiinis siya. I checked my wristwatch and it's currently 11:20 na so I ask Nico kung may nabili na silang lunch for our workers and good thing, meron na so I told them to have their lunch while me, I'll go check on my Lizzy na din.

As I reach the tent, I saw Stephen so I immediately walk towards him and ask kung nasa'n si Lizzy dahil wala siya. Usually kasi kapag pumupunta ako dito, katabi niya lagi si Stephen but now, hindi. I also look around but still, she's nowhere to be found. "Malapit na maglunch ah. Saan naman kaya pumunta yun? (In his mind)"
